Battlefield pt.2

3rd PERSON POV

" Scott, twins can you hear me? You can, can't you? Then listen closely, the game is about to get interesting. How about we put a real timer on the game? I'll give you guys the last 30 seconds when the scoreboard clock begins counting down from 30 if you all haven't given me Derek, I'll have Jackson kill someone" They all tensed as Gerard threatened them. " So tell me who's gonna die tonight? Should it be your mother who bravely came out to support you guys? Or the sheriff, your best friends father. Or how about the pretty little red head, who managed to survive the bite of an alpha?" Gerard questioned, and at the mention of Lydia, Ariadne went to get up but Scott and Oceanus held her back. Granted her and Lydia haven't talked a whole lot since the night of her party but she was innocent. " Or maybe one of these innocent teenagers with their whole life ahead of them? Or should I do everyone a favor and kill the ridiculous coach? It's up to you guys, but you are going to help me take Derek down. Because if you don't, I'll have Jackson rip someone's head off right in the middle of the field and drench everyone you love and care about in blood" Gerard threatened. Ariadne was seething with anger, she tried to control it but she couldn't. She felt her eyes changing color so she walked off to get some peace.

She was counting to 10 but it wasn't working. "Hey, Aria. Just say it with me" Oceanus came to help her and together they counted from 1 to 10. She took deep breaths along the way and calmed down. They walked back over and sat back down.

The bench was filled with awkward tension considering it was just the twins and Scott on the bench. Ariadne could feel Scott's eyes in her but she refused to look, she wanted to but she didn't have times to deal with her emotions with him.

The team was sucking and everybody groaned. " Sit down McCall!" Coach yelled grabbing Scott by his jersey and forcing him to sit. "Coach we're dying out there!" Scott yelled pointing out towards the field. All the coach did was pat Scott on the back and walked away. Suddenly a surprising person decided to show up.

" You came to help?" Ariadne asked surprised, she had though Isaac wouldn't leave his pack behind, but something told her that he was slowly switching sides. " I came to win" he told them and they all turned to look at Gerard. " I need to get in that game" Scott said to them and Isaac looked down the bench to see many players. " We gotta find a way to make sure coach has to play you" Isaac said, already an idea forming in his head. " Can you do it without putting anybody in the hospital?" Oceanus questioned, and Isaac nodded. " He'll try. Just do what you have to" Ariadne said pushing Isaac out on the field. The three teens watched as Isaac filled in Aries and Stiles.

Isaac and Aries knocked down players one by one, speeding the process up of getting Scott in the game. Then Jackson rammed into Isaac. "Jackson got me, I can feel it spreading" he told the twins and Scott before the paramedics took Isaac away. " You wanna play chess? You better be prepared to loose a few player" Gerard told them. " McCall! You're in or we forfeit" Coach yelled at Scott. " Go after Isaac, I know Gerard doesn't just want Derek, he wants his pack to" Scott told the twins as he put on his helmet.

" Somethings happening isn't it? Something more than a lacrosse game?" Melissa asked as she rushed up to the kids in on the field, Aries jogging up to them and caught the last little bit of what she said. " Yea mom, look we need you to go home, get out of here" Scott told his mom, they figured if she was gone then that was one less person to protect. " I'm not going anywhere, everything that I said before, forget it. If you kids can do something to help then you guys do it. You have to" Melissa said as she looked at each and every single one of them. She now realized the pressure the teens put on themselves when something happens. " We will" Ariadne confirmed and Melissa smiled. "Whatever happens, I'm proud of you, all of you" she said and the ref blew the whistle. They all went there separate ways to stop Gerard's plan.

Gerard and a hunter watched as Isaac was crawling away from them in the locker room. "It was a good effort Isaac. It was" Gerard congratulated him, pulling out his big silver sword. " This would be so much more poetic if it were half time" He said to himself.

Isaac has finally gotten enough strength to pull himself up and lean against one of the sinks. He smirked when he realized that the twins were standing right behind them. They grabbed each of the hunters and punched them in the face and threw them into the wall. They looked around but Gerard was already gone. "For an old man be moves fast" Ariadne breathed and and her brother nodded. "Thanks for the rescue. We gotta go the game is almost up" Isaac reminded them and they all rushed towards the field.

They rushed out in the field to see the team cheering and they watched as the clock winded down. The ref blew the whistle. " Nothing happened. Nothing" Oceanus said as he looked around and saw everybody smiling and cheering. Then the lights cut out and everybody started screaming and running. The twins and Isaac went to find Scott and his mom, along with Aries and Stiles. They yelled out their friends names and then eventually they ran into Aries, Scott and, Melissa. " We're fine, but somebody is hurt and they're down on the field" Melissa told them and the lights suddenly came back on, shining on the field.

" Get our of the way! Move, back up!" Coach yelled pushing the players out of the way and that gave room to see what was happening. Lydia cane rushing through the players calling out Jackson's name and begging to know what happened. " He did it to himself" Aries told the group as he pointed down at Jackson's hands. Melissa was down on the ground giving CPR to him and grabbed Lydia and gave her instructions. " Stiles! Stiles! Has anyone seen my son!" The sheriff yelled coming through the crowd. The twins and Scott looked around and didn't see Stiles anywhere in sight.

The number one questioned remained, where the hell is Stiles?

Wow it had been a minute since I've done one of these. I decided to not let the twins know about Scott's plan just because it makes it easier to set the plot up for season 3. But wow! A few more chapters and season 3a! I'm excited!
