Heart Monitor pt. 1

3rd PERSON POV

Ariadne was in the kitchen watching her brother carefully. " Maybe I should stay home" she stated not wanting to leave her twins side. "No! Just go I'm healed for the most part and besides Stiles is going to need you today" Oceanus said.

Ariadne had still not spoken to Scott since that night. The only person she talked to was her brother and Stiles. Stiles wasn't mad at the twins at all knowing that they tried to do something. " Yeah you're right plus I've got to get going, Lydia texted saying she's on her way" Ariadne stayed walking out the kitchen.

After Ariadne had said by to Lydia she met Stiles up at his locker. " Hey how's your dad?" She asked walking up with him. " Good, your brother?" He asked back she nodded and grabbed his hand leading them to the stairs. " So you know what my brother said to me?," Ariadne asked, she needed somebody to rant to and Stiles just so happened to be the person, "he told me that I should forgive Scott" She finished. " Well are you going to?" Stiles questioned. Stiles wasn't as nearly pissed as Ariadne. " No! I mean if I do, I'm going to need time" she said softly as she watched the crowd of people walk by. " Yes I understand, I mean how could he have let that happen? Like you were pulled back by Isaac and still went after my dad and your brother. I mean Scott chose a girl he's been dating for and few weeks over people he's know his whole life basically. Why?" Stiles asked looking over at Ariadne.

She sighed and leaned her head down on Stiles shoulder, as she grabbed his hand. " Maybe we're just the less fortunate when it comes to things like that" she said. " Maybe" Stiles replied as he leaned his head down on hers. They didn't have many moments like this but when they did, they always cherished them. " Come on we gotta get to class" Stiles said pulling them both up. " Are we gonna ignore Scott?" She asked as she walked down the hallway with Stiles. " Obviously, what're friends for?" He asked and Ariadne had laughed, it had been her first real laugh since the night of the school.

Scott had came rushing in right before the bell rings. He seen his two best friends sitting next to each other laughing. Scott felt bad that night when he couldn't help save them, he even felt worse when he told Ariadne she didn't get it.

Stiles turned to the door to see Scott, Ariadne followed his line of vision to see Scott staring right back at them. Their faces turned to stone as Scott walked over. " Still not talking to me?" Scott asked as he looked back at both of them. " Can you at least tell me if your dad and brother are ok? It can't be that bad right? Maybe like some soft tissue damage?" Scott kept asking questions as he looked between the two. He got nothing, so he decided to try one last thing.

" What if I told you guys that I went to Derek for help?" He asked one last time. " Well if I were talking to you I would tell you your stupid for trusting him. But I'm not so." Stiles said as he sighed not looking at Scott. It was then Scott knew they were really upset but more so of angry from Ariadne. " What did he say?" Stiles spoke up looking at Scott. And Scott smiled at the action, he was happy to have his best friends talking to him, well one of them. He looked over at Ariadne as she was drawing and writing things down in her notebook.

" So y'all will help me?" Scott asked and Stiles nodded his head. " But what about Ariadne? She hasn't agreed to help" Scott said getting her attention. She looked up as she seen both Stiles and Scott looking at her, she was angry and she needed time to sort out her emotions. She shook her head and flipped them off. " C'mon you know she'll help, it's what she does" Stiles said trying to get Scott to shut up. " I want her to say she'll help" Scott said. He wanted to hear her voice, even if she said it harshly.

Stiles kept poking her and every few times she'd swat his hand away, she was getting annoyed and fast. " Just say you'll help and I'll stop" Stiles said still poking her. He didn't get a reply so her started poking her faster. Making her angry faster. Then she caught his finger and looked at him as her eyes glowed. " Stop it" she said as she watched Stiles eyes widened. She turned back to her notebook. She could feel the boys eyes on her waiting for an answer. " I'll help, but only because Stiles is getting annoying" she said not looking up.
