Co-Captain pt.2

ARIADNE'S POV

In the car we were talking about what happened earlier. " So what were y'all doing with Jackson?" I asked looking between the guys. " We we're looking for Jackson because we think that the Argents think Jackson is the second beta" Scott said, looking toward me. "Yea it wasn't fun, Scott kept getting angry and hit my jeep a couple times" Stiles said looking through the mirror back at me. " Yea if they think that's the truth they'll go after Jackson. But here's the real pain in the ass, the way Argent looked at us, it's like he knows we know, or that one of us or all of us are werewolves" Ocean spoke up from the front seat. " Yea but doesn't Argent already know about you guys?" Stiles asked.

" No not necessarily , if he did then he would've cornered us eventually. But he may have a suspicion" I stated, I didn't really worry about the Argents comping after us, my brother and I were more skilled, the only thing I'm worried about is the fact that they're more ruthless.

" Ok how would he have a suspicion?" Scott asked. " Well Lightwood is one of the most well known names in the shadow world. We're some of the greatest hunters and protectors. Argents might think it's a coincidence but I highly doubt it" I stated crossing my arms over my chest. " Well let hope he thinks it's a coincidence" Stiles said, driving faster down the road.

3rd PERSON POV

After Stiles had dropped off the twins home they immediately got into discussion. " I think that we should put a pause on the alpha situation" Oceanus said writing something down about their dad in the notebook. " Why? The alpha is the whole center of our mess" Ariadne disagreed with the idea. " All I'm saying is, is that right now, dad is MIA, Peter knows about mom, so what if he knows where dads at?" He questioned, showing the girl the notebook. " Well maybe he's looking for mom. I think we would know if dad was in real danger" she stated shoving the notebook away from her. " Would we though? The last time we had any communication with him is when he sent you that fire message. I mean hasn't he even checked to make sure we're alive after the school incident. You know that's weird" He pointed out, shoving the notebook toward her. She sighed, she knew he was right but she just didn't want to think anything bad happened. "Ok where do we start?" She asked.

After a while of discussing and coming up with different theories, Scott and Stiles came rushing into the twins house. The twins startled by them rushed to cover everything they could. " Don't you guys ever knock?" Ariadne asked standing up to go close the door. " Sorry but I just found some things out from my dad" Stiles said as he and Scott went to go sit down.

" Ok so the two guys from the night we were out drinking and the video store clerk all had a wrap sheet" Stiles explained grabbing a piece of paper and writing something down. " Ok and that is?" Oceanus asked, trying to get some information. " They all had a history of arson. Now the dead bus driver, he was a insurance investigator assigned to the Hale fire. We starting to see a pattern?" He asked the group. " Peter thinks that they had something to do with the fire" Ariadne spoke up. She finally understood when he meant 'only the responsible ones'. " He blames them for everything that happened before and after the fire" Scott said, adding on to what Ariadne said. Stiles nodded his head, " Yea now I think we're close to figuring out who the real fire starter is, my dad got a statement from Harris saying that a woman was asking him about chemistry and fires, things like that. So we find the woman, we find the real arsonist" Stiles stated throwing the pen down. The group nodded, they knew the girl was an Argent but they just didn't know who. So at the end of the day Stiles and Oceanus plans eventually molded into one. " Ok I think we can do that, now everybody out" Oceanus said opening the door for Scott and Stiles. Once they left he collected all the papers, said goodnight to his sister and went to bed.

ARIADNE'S POV

I just got a text from Scott saying that Allison was at his house but also Peter, taking Melissa on a date. I rushed to his house and as soon as I got there Stiles was right behind me. " He call you to?" He asked, matching my pace. Just when I was getting ready to knock on the door, Stiles and I came face to face with Scott. " I know where she's at" is all Scott said as he dragged us to the car.

" Now just tap the car, not hit Stiles" Scott explained as we came upon Peters car. He nodded and did so. Scott and I immediately rushing behind the car. Scott's eyes widened as I watched Melissa yell at Stiles. Scott tapped my arm, " we gotta go to Derek, he's got Jackson" Scott said, and we rushed off to Derek's.

We had gotten there before Derek because then we heard shouting. " Excuse me co-captain" was all Scott said as he jumped down in his wolf form. Me with my glowing eyes and runes right after him. " Jackson, go" I said as I grabbed my blade, Derek turning and roared in our faces. " Move" he said. " Not a chance in hell" I said, letting my bracelet become a whip. " Fine. I'll kill you too" Derek huffed. Then we heard the sound of an arrow being released. "Cover your eyes!" Derek yelled at us as I pulled Scott down with me. All of the sudden bullets started flying everywhere. I pushed Scott towards one way Derek the other. I crawled over to Scott and saw him bleeding, his wolf featured fading in and out. " Derek!" I yelled looking toward him to see he was already looking at us. " Go! I'll hold them off!" He shouted over the gun fire. I nodded and went out through the back way, clutching Scott close to me as I possibly can. Then all the sudden I felt this sharp pain in my stomach I lifted up my shirt and saw a gunshot wound with black veins surrounding it, demon venom. So they do know what we are. I couldn't hold him much longer, so we both fell. " Ariadne" I heard my name whispered by Scott, he looked at me and seen my bullet wound.

I could feel like I was being carried, " stop" I heard Scott whisper, and a voice I thought I wouldn't hear. " It's all right Scott, Ariadne I'll take good care of you guys" I heard Deaton say, and that was the last thing I heard before passing out.

3rd PERSON POV

Deaton was working on Scott, he was going to attend to Ariadne first but she insisted through her moments of being awake that Scott be helped first. Deaton examining the bullet, and cleaning Scott up. All of the sudden Scott's eyes opened and he tried to sit up. " I wouldn't get up just yet" Deaton told Scott. Scott looked around for Ariadne. " You're fine, you're at the clinic. I gave you something that should speed up the healing process" Deaton told him while wiping the blood of of Scott. " Where- where's Ariadne?" Scott asked, he still hadn't seen the girl and he was worried. " She's on the table next to you, she insisted that I work on you first" Deaton's voice became all wonky to Scott as he was falling out of consciousness. " She'll be ok" was the last thing Scott heard before passing out.
