Silverfinger pt.1

ARIADNE'S POV

We all gathered into Argents office. When we came back to Allison's place, we found Chris passed out on the floor with cuts and bruises. I looked around the room and noticed how much of a mess we all were. Paint was smudged all across our bodies and some blood on other places.

Chris was telling us the story of how he knew about the guys in the masks. " What was he?" Scott asked, referring to the guy who got stabbed. " I don't know. But there might be someone who does" Chris explained while Allison was tending to his wounds. " There were a few others who survived that night. One of them being a man named Katashi. They called him silver finger because of an unusual prosthetic. And it looked like he was getting ready to take them all on by himself. I've known for a while that he's been in the country. I spent yesterday tracking him down" he further explained his whereabouts.

" It doesn't look like he wanted to be found" I said as I pointed at his wounds. " Not particularly, no" he agreed. " You think he knows what they are? Or what they want?" Aries asked. " Maybe" Chris suspected. " What if he doesn't want to talk?" Allison asked and Chris stood up. " What if he does t even remember you?" Oceanus asked.

" He'll remember this" Chris pulled the mask out of the box, " I know I didn't kill it. I'm not sure you can. But I slowed it down long enough for us to get out of there" he added looking at Allison. " What was behind the mask?" Cora asked as she picked up a piece of the mask.

" Darkness. Absolute darkness" he answered. I sighed, this is great. It's exactly what any of us need right now.

3rd PERSON POV

Isaac had listened to Ariadne's instructions and took Kira home. He parked in front of their house as they sat in silence. " Are you ok?" He whispered and looked over at her. She just nodded. " So all of your friends are..." she trailed off. " Yea. Not all of us, some of us are different" Isaac explained. " And your a.." Kira trailed off again. Isaac sighed as he watched Kira turn away from him. He didn't want her to find out, not like this. The first girl he liked since Ariadne and he probably just sent her running.

" Can I see?" Kira asked as she turned to him. "Are you sure?" He asked, and she nodded. Isaac looked around to make sure nobody was around and closed his eyes. Kira was amazed at Isaac's features. How his eyes glowed a bright yellow, how hair grew from his cheeks. Even how his fangs and ears grew. Isaac looked away, ashamed that she had to see him like that.

Kira brought her hand up to touch his face, she ran her fingers over his brows and touched the hair on his cheeks, she then ran her fingertips across his lips. His eyes changed back to their color. Kira just smiled and pulled her hand away. " I'll see you at school" she thanked him for the ride and left. Isaac watched to make sure she got in safely before leaving.

ARIADNE'S POV

I was riding on the back of Scott's bike when we heard revving sounds. I turned my head to see Ethan and Aiden on each side of us. Scott just sped up, driving faster to school.

" You guys gonna be doing this all day?" Scott asked as we took off our helmets. " All day" Ethan replied, " all night" Aiden added. " This about being in the pack?" I asked as I got off his bike. " No. This is about you guys being a target of demonic ninjas" Aiden explained. "You mean the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chests and completely kicked our asses?" Ethan asked sarcastically. "Yea, those demonic ninjas" Aiden answered.
