Grey Is The New Blue

Lloyd's body flopped onto the wet sand as the Green Ninja finished dragging his mother out of the water, the blonde quickly tore off his mask to cough up the water that found itself in the throat of the soaked hero. The Ninja had all been incredibly lucky, well not completely lucky, they did all just fall from a very high cliff into a body of water that could have drowned them, but at least none of them found themselves with a massive spike through their chest. As Lloyd turned onto his back and wheezed for air, he was soon joined by the rest of the Ninja and Master Wu clawing themselves out of the Endless Sea, Kai lending a hand to the team's mentor 

"Thank you for your assistance Kai" Master Wu showed his gratitude to his student in between heavy breaths, the Red Ninja gently setting the old man onto the ground. Kai could only offer his mentor a small smile and a light nod before he collapsed onto the sand beside Master Wu, removing his red mask to get some air into his exhausted lungs. Cole, Nya and Zane were the last of the group to trudge themselves out of the sea, as soon as the two of them set foot onto the sand the Earth and Water Ninja dropped to their knees panting heavily, while the Ice Ninja simply opened up his front panel to release the water and small fish that had snuck into the Nindroid's body during the Ninja's big splash 

For several minutes the Secret Ninja Force did nothing but lay on the shore of the Dark Island, blankly staring up at the dark sky as they tried getting as much air into their tired bodies as possible. Zane took this chance to survey the condition of everyone spread across the sand, the Nindroid wasn't able to see any major injuries, only a couple of minor wounds and bruises that didn't require immediate medical attention. "AHHHH DAMNIT!" The loud and agitated voice of the Water Ninja suddenly yelled, cutting through the silent atmosphere with her fists repeatedly pounding away at the sand. The rest of the Ninja were caught completely off guard by the unexpected outburst from their teammate, unsure of what to do as they just watched Nya unleash her anger out on the grains of sand around them

Despite the immense pain her body was in and how much it was telling her to stay down, Nya gritted her teeth and forced herself back onto her wobbling feet, picking up her Elemental Blade before trying to stumble back towards the cliff the Ninja had just fallen from, almost dropping back to the ground several times. "Nya, what are you doing?" Koko asked the bruised Ninja, getting up and following behind her "I'm going back to get Jay!" Nya firmly stated to the older woman, ignoring the intense aching in her right arm. "You are in absolutely no shape to head back up there Nya" Koko advised the Water Ninja as she stopped her in her tracks "And besides, the Stone Army and Jay are most likely completely gone by now"

Nya looked down at her feet in despair as Koko rested a hand on the girl's shoulder, thousands of thoughts were running through the mind of the Water Ninja, most if not all being centred around the captured Lightning Ninja. The thought of Jay being scared and alone while being held hostage by the aggressive Stone Warriors made Nya feel sick, feeling guilty that she couldn't stop the Blue Ninja from being taken away. The Water Ninja shrugged off the hand of the older woman with her shaking fists clenched, still feeling an incredible amount of rage and frustration as she pushed herself past Koko and to the confusion of the other Ninja stomped towards her wide eyed older brother 

"This is all your fault!" Nya loudly shouted at Kai as she grabbed him by the front of his gi, pulling him closer to her scowling face "If you didn't drag me back down I could have saved him!" She furiously yelled into the face of her brother, who was quickly becoming just as aggravated as the Water Ninja. "My fault?! If it wasn't for me you would have been joining Jay in getting dragged away by the Stone Army!" Kai's voice boomed as he shoved his sister off of him, the two siblings almost growling at each other like wild animals. Sensing that a fight was about to break out Cole and Lloyd lunged forward to hold back the two Ninja, keeping the two of them from tearing each other's heads off. "I can deal with losing Jay, but I sure as hell wasn't about to lose my little sister too!" The Red Ninja tried to shake the Earth Ninja off of him, but Cole's grip was too strong to break
