The Overlord Cometh

"What in the hell did they do to him?!" Nya furiously muttered through gritted teeth, wanting to unleash everything she had onto Garmadon and the Overlord after seeing what they had done to the Blue Ninja. She almost struggled to even look in his direction, feeling a pit in her stomach every time she looked into his raging purple eyes. Completely gone was the innocent and nervous boy that the Ninja once knew, and now twitching before them was a monster in his clothing, fiercely growling at them as he tightly held onto the corrupted Elemental Blade, the once bright blue lightning of the weapon now turned a dark purple. "From the looks of it, Garmadon seems to have used whatever evil power his weapon has to corrupt him, turning Jay into another one of his warriors" Koko stated, drawing her sword and preparing to face off against the dark haired Ninja

"My brother must have sent him to slow us down, we can not allow for that to happen" Master Wu sternly spoke, ready to fight his own student in order to stop his brother from firing the weapon that had turned the Lightning Ninja evil. "But what are we supposed to do? There's no way we can fight Jay! It's Jay!" Cole protested, the thought of fighting the Lightning Ninja not sitting well with the sleeveless teen. "Unfortunately I do not think we will have much choice in this matter, we must fight Jay in order to get to Garmadon" Zane informed Cole, the Nindroid's hand hovering above the handle of his Elemental Blade

With a gnarly yell Jay suddenly lunged forward, swinging his Elemental Blade directly at the Green Ninja. With wide eyes Lloyd just about managed to roll himself out of the way, the Lightning Ninja went to strike his friend for a second time but a firm smack from Master Wu's wooden staff sent the evil Ninja tumbling backwards, and with a strong kick to the chest by Koko the Blue Ninja was knocked onto his back. "We can handle him from here" Cole turned to face Lloyd, giving the blonde a confident look as he rested a hand on his shoulder "You, your mom and Master Wu should go up ahead and stop Garmadon from firing that weapon" 

Lloyd was hesitant to face his father without the other Ninja behind him, still not feeling completely confident he alone had what it took to stop Garmadon and the Overlord, but he knew he couldn't stay and argue with Cole so the Green Ninja simply gave his friend a firm nod before turning and heading in the direction of the large tread marks, his mother and uncle following closely behind him. Jay once again lunged towards Lloyd but before he could grab onto the Green Ninja, a fiery red Spinjitzu tornado slammed right into him, hurtling the Blue Ninja into a nearby tree as Kai spun back to the rest of the Ninja, staring down the recovering evil Jay

"Well if we do have to fight him, let's not hurt him, it's still Jay after all" Nya pointed out to the others, putting away her Elemental Blade and raising her fists. "No weapons" She looked back at the other Ninja, expecting them to put away their weapons as well. Cole and Zane had no issue following Nya's order, Kai was a bit more hesitant but a stern look from his sister was a big enough push for the Red Ninja to stash his Elemental Blade back into the belt of his gi "Alright fine, I'm sure this won't be too hard, it is just Jay after all" Kai cracked his knuckles, sporting a cocky grin beneath his mask

An angry growl came from the corrupted Blue Ninja as he raced towards the four Ninja like a wild animal, his purple eyes locked onto the White Ninja who was quick on his feet to avoid a slash from Jay's Elemental Blade, Zane was swift in grabbing onto the Lightning Ninja and tossing him away, being careful not to hurt his friend. Jay firmly landed back onto his feet and wasted no time in charging right back at the Ninja, shooting a bolt of purple lightning at the group, three of them were able to jump clear of the blast but Kai wasn't as lucky, the lightning bolt struck the Red Ninja head on and sent the poor Ninja crashing into a tree stump 

Nya ran up from behind Jay and wrapped her arms around the evil Ninja, engulfing him in a tight embrace in hopes of keeping him from hurting the other Ninja along with himself "Come on Jay! This isn't you!" The Water Ninja tried talking to the struggling Ninja in her grasp, hoping she could somehow get Jay to snap out of it. Nya's attempt would prove to be in vain as with a loud groan the Blue Ninja swung his head backwards and slammed it right into his holder's face, Nya stumbled backwards disorientated while Jay easily broke out of her grasp. Taking advantage of the Water Ninja's blurry vision, the Lightning Ninja landed a fierce roundhouse kick that sent Nya right to the ground with a pained moan
