Hello again Nate.

I was looking over the files again when the station doors opened.
"Hey Aunty!"
"In the conference room!"
"Was it always like this?" Spencer asked and I gave a nod
"They liked keeping it a bit light in 'ere. It was an interesting experience to say the least." I told giving a shrug.
"I got you, your donuts."
"If he is a civilian he can't be in 'ere Kate." I told not looking
"He is a police officer. He was just helping his kid with the bakery for the rush hour."
"These those FBI agents y'all were talking about?"
"These are the two doctors. Dr.Reid and you remember lil River."
"Been a while River."
"What can I say Nate. I don't exactly go around back to my fathers stomping grounds in my spare time."
"Well I gotta get to work. I'll see ya around River, dr." He told before leaving again.
"Wanna explain?" Spencer asked once Kate also left the room.
"I knew Nate when I was here. Annoyed the hell outta me."
"Thought it would have been the other way."
"What's that suppose to mean?"
"Usually we annoy other people with how we are. Instead he annoyed you."
"You don't annoy me." I told him
"And neither do you."
I looked down at my file and couldn't help but smile.
"Coffee?" He asked and I gave a nod.

"We got a profile ready." Hotch told
"I'll get the cops." Kate told before leaving.
"This will be fun." I told dryly.
"You good River?" J asked
"Just thinking. Being a book shop keeper in hipster central sounds really good right now."
"Baby, your already one."
"She ran into a guy called Nate." Spencer told
"Don't say his name name, he'll come running."
"You know a lot of people." Emily told
"He annoys me. This is the first time I've run into someone who annoyed the hell outta me."
"Why does she sound really southern sometimes?" Morgan asked
"I was 'ere for two months and got the accent from all the time I spent 'ere. Guess being surrounded by people with the accent has made mine show. Just give me a second." I told before hitting my chest hard. "Testing... ok I should be good for now."
"River you'll bruise yourself if you do that." J told
"It's the best reset I get with it. Come on we gotta get this profile onto the road." I told before we headed to  give the profile.
"River!"
"Nope!" I told before going to hide behind Spencer.
"Is that....."
"Yeah that's Nate." Spencer told cutting Emily off.

"The unsub knows their way around the police. Which means they know you in some way. Probably an ex-cop or has a military background." Hotch told all the police officers and detectives.
"Some other killers like our unsub are The son of Sam or the green river killer." Spencer told before the chief jumped in.
"Like the Heartless killer?" Kate asked
"The heartless killer?" Rossi asked
"Yeah, it was a killer in 1990. It was in some town in Seattle. Surprised you lot haven't heard of it before. It was suspected that the unsub had some sort of police background." Nate told
"Yes well that's a good example." I began. "We believe the unsub is a male in their late 20s to early 30s and would be seen as someone who is weak."
"We also know that they mostly attack in a 50 mile radius which could signal where they work or live." Spencer told
"This person has already killed 5 people and another one has been taken so we don't have long till they end up dead as well." Rossi added.
'This is not going to end well.....'
Once the briefing was done I quickly rushed off to go to the bathroom and locked myself in one of the toilets to calm myself.
'It's fine. Your no longer back at being nearly killed. Everything is completely fine. Hearing those names and how someone obviously has a police or military background just brought up the memories of your mothers killer. Just breath like Pastor Ryan taught you.... where's that rubber band I keep on me?'
I went searching through my pockets till I found what I was looking for. I quickly slid it on my wrist and began to snap it as I breathed.
'I'll be fine. I have Spencer and the team to help me. Everything will work out fine.'
