"Why did all of them go, 'let's rush down to help!' ? What are they gonna do? Stop her from being kidnapped? She already was!" Daisy exclaimed.
"Sweetie...."
"You know sarcasm is my only defensive." She shot back.
"Good thing we could convince them not to." Kenny told
"I heard a girl at the back of mine, so I'm hoping he wasn't getting jiggy with it before I called him." Lucy told
"Same. Then I found out it was movie night with his roommates." Daisy told.
"Thought he finally had game." Kenny told making Lucy laugh.
"Dude you forget about the whole thing when they went to uni."
"Shit that's right. His teacher was crushing on him."
"He was also crushing on her."
"Maybe we don't discuss this in front of her team. Especially when the lanky one is dating River." Richard told
"Shit you're dating Riv?" They both asked
"Yes. I am."
"He reminds me of him.... JINX!"
"How are you guys not upset over your cousin being kidnapped?" Morgan asked
"Oh no we are." Kenny told
"It's more the fact that we are using humour to think positive thoughts." Lucy added.
"It helps." Richard stated.
'Please don't lose hope River.'

We kept working on places they could be holding up in when someone came in.
"Chief, someone dropped this off at the door."
"Did you check the cameras?"
"Didn't get anything but static and then it appeared." He told before placing the gift wrapped box on the table.
"Could be a trap from Nik." Prentiss told
"No. He wants information from us, he wouldn't kill us for it." Hotch told
"Lucy, knife." Dick told.
"Dad you just need to pull the lip off."
"Oh. Smart."
"Shouldn't we check it for fingerprints?" Morgan asked
"Nik doesn't have fingerprints. Lil ripper told everyone that." He told before pulling the lip off to reveal a USB. "Odd."
"I'll get an old computer." Daisy told before leaving.
"Why would he send us a USB?" Penelope asked
"Because he wants us to see something we wouldn't be able to over call." Kenny began.
"And that's River."
'He's hurt her hasn't he.'
"Unless he's somehow converted that one tape we hid when she was younger." Richard added.

We got the computer set up and began to play the video on the USB. Once it began we were greeted with a younger River sitting in a chair.

Day 30:

"So River. How are you feeling today?"
"Are you recording these to make it easier to see how my emotions go when speaking?"
"It helps. You're speaking with some more emotions today. Big improvement."
"Is it big improvement when everyone keeps walking on eggshells around you since they think it's unfortunate when your whole family is dead?"
"At least your speaking in school again."
"To tell people that they are arrogant and that death will take us all one day. Why try and ignore the natural order of things?"
"Still in the dark mindset I see."
"I lost all my joy when my father died."
"Of course. How about we discuss....."

Day 50:

"Another day, another chat. How bout that?"
"You know filming this is peculiar right?"
"Why do you say that?"
"Maybe it's cause other therapist don't record their sessions."
"That's true. But seeing the change in your body behaviour is good to help signal where you may have lied or have decided to keep information you might want to tell but can't."
"Right. You know you can always ask me."
"You won't always respond though."
"I know."
"Well....."

Day 97:

"River how do you feel?"
"Like I wish they succeeded in killing me. Guess we can't all be winners."
"Who did this to you?"
"It doesn't matter."
"It does River."
"I think it represents how well everything in my family is messed up."
"River...."
"You know I've always wondered what it meant to be a Finley. And why my father felt at piece with it. Now I know why."
"What does it mean to be a Finley, River?"
"It means we will always be destined to be broken." She told as she looked into the camera.

The scene flickered and once it became solid again we saw the River we know.
"Say hi to your team."
"Hey. You sure showing them where your keeping me is a good idea?"
"Yeah. Your backgrounds just black fabric, what the fuck are they gonna figure out from that?"
"True. So what am I meant to do with this?"
"Obviously you should know."
"Did you start filming, with no fucking plan?"
"Maybe."
"Oh my god. How you manage to convince people you are not insane will confuse me."
"I'm a great actor."
"So why are you sending my team a video?"
"Let them see how your doing."
"Right cause you can't see people's emotions when over the phone."
"Fuck that's way smarter then my reason."
"What?"
"I just wanted them to see you and feel bad that your here, like this."
"God I wish I was knocked out or possessed by the devil."
"You got that tattoo though."
"Wishful thinking then."
"Anywho, anything you want to say to your team?"
"Sure. Spencer, do you remember the first conversation we had when we met. You gave me 'The  complete H.P Lovecraft series.' Since you wanted to read it when you knocked it over. I told you that my favourite was the story with the eye. You then told me the strangest thing ever. Life is a series of numbers. 58761. Those are the most unique ones.' And I didn't understand it. But I still said '6917.' And had been friends ever since."
"Is that really how you two met?"
"Yeah."
"Weird."
"What can I say, he is my Mayberry." She told before the screen went black.

"How did he get that footage?" Daisy asked
"I have no clue hun."
'I'll figure it out.'
