The Lady and the Genius.

Ladys night pt.2

We were all a giggling mess in the lounge room of Js place. J was sitting on the floor, Em had the chair and me and Penelope shared the couch.
"I have a secret to tell you girls." I told making them all lean close to me. "I....am very drunk." I informed before I fell off the couch making us laugh.
"I missed getting drunk with you River. You were always so fun and then you decided to hold back from the booze."
"Only because Mike got very mad when I came home wasted. He slapped me for it....oh shit he slapped me more then once! Huh guess drunk me remembered something sober me didn't." I told as Penelope helped me back up onto the couch.
"Why were you with him anyway?" Em asked
"Because he was very nice and treated me very well. But then he started to change near the end of our relationship so I left. But now I'm with a great guy who I absolutely love."
"When do we get to meet this lucky man?" Penelope asked
"I don't know. I mean we ain't even gone to town yet."
"River it's been like 5 months maybe 6!" J exclaimed
"I don't know we just haven't yet. I'm too nervous to make the first move and he most likely is as well, so we are just stuck in this limbo of who's gonna be the first person to stop being nervous and go for it?"
"Wait so you don't know how big he is?!" Penelope asked once she realised.
"Affirmative. But I believe he is packing because I just do." I told making them giggle before I stopped all of a sudden. "Imma call him and tell him!"
"This can not be good." Em told having Penelope and J shush her
I grabbed my phone and called him to hear his voice on the other side.

"Is everything ok babe? It's 11pm."
"I have some news to tell you that I ain't gonna wait anymore to tell ya."
"How drunk are you?"
"Why do you think I'm drunk?"
"Because you go southern when your drunk."
"That ain't true.... ok I hear it a tad bit, I won't lie about that. But we've gone off course!"
"We have?"
"Yes. Because the news I want to tell you is..... I want to ride that disco stick."

There was a paused on both sides of the phone before the girls began to laugh making me giggle with them. I refocused once I didn't hear anything from the other side.

"Babe? You good you've gone quite?"
"I'm trying to work out what disco stick you want to ride."
"Oh your smart but innocent babe. The disco stick is....."

I looked at the other to have help to explain it and I moved my phone away from me a little when I spoke.
"How do I tell him what a disco stick is?" I asked making them laugh.
"I've got it." Em began "tell him that all men have one."
"Ok." I told before bringing the phone back to me

"Ok I'm sorry I had to think for a second."
"That's fine babe. I'm still trying to work it out."
"It's your dick."

The girls lost it and began to laugh at what I said, and Spencer was really quite again on the other end.

"Babe?"
"I.....I just don't know what to say now."
"That's ok. I really want to see you though can you pick me up in like half an hour?"
"An hour tops?"
"That'll definitely work. Ok well love you bye!"
"Love you bye."

I hung up the phone and looked at the girls with a smile.
"Did I do good?" I asked
"Penelope please tell me you recorded that whole thing." Em told
"Oh trust me I did and it's fantastic!" She told as she made sure it was saved
"Did I not do good?"
"No River, what you said was perfect." J told
"Oh I just remembered something. The boys would have replied back by now." Penelope told as she grabbed her phone again to look at her texts.
"Replied back for what?" I ask
"Penelope sent Derek and Spencer the picture of our outfit." J told.
We all rushed to see the screen and saw what Derek said first.

"Our baby girl can rock anything it seems. If only she didn't have that boyfriend."

"Ok but what did Spencer say!" Em asked as Penelope looked for it.
"Here it is."

"She looks really nice. Hope you guys have a fun night."

"Of course Spencer says something nice." J states like we should have known.
"He is a nice boy." I told making them agree.
"I'm just surprised how long it took for you two to become as close as you are now." J stated making me laugh.
"I mean we both kinda thought you guys were trying to get us together." I told before laughing some more
"Oh no we definitely have been trying." Em stated
"Why though?" I asked
"Because you two are really good together. But we kinda stopped after the whole Spencer is now dating Dr type deal. Morgan was so happy to learn that." Penelope told
"I would imagine." I stated
'If only they knew.'
After awhile I got a text on my phone telling me Spencer was here.
"I gotta go my lovelies. My prince and ride are here!"
"I wanna meet him!" J told as she stood up.
"No J please not yet, I'm not ready for you to meet him." I told using my Bambi eyes.
"Fine. Just be safe ok." She told before giving me a hug.
"I will."
I left the house and made my way to the car and climbed in to see Spencer with a big smile on his face.
"Did you have fun?" He asked as we began to head home.
"I did have a lot of fun. We played never have I ever and they learnt that I had to get stitches but they didn't ask why.... do you think they think it's part of the whole cutting situation I was in?"
"Probably..... wait what?! You had to get stitches and it wasn't because you were cutting?"
"Oh yeah. On my left shoulder." I told
"Surprised I haven't seen it since some of your outfits do show your back and shoulder."
"Guess it still is hidden by my clothes. I learnt that Mike actually had slapped me once before. I somehow forgot that."
"It's ok now though. He is gone and he can't hurt you." He told before he grabbed my hand and kissed it.
We soon made it back home and we made our way to Spencer's apartment since I kept walking up the stairs. Once he closed the door and locked it I wrapped my arms around him and began to sway on the spot.
"You ok River?"
"I'm good. I still would really like to jump you."
"Maybe another time since you are drunk and I would rather you not be drunk when it happens."
"I know. I'm tired."
"Then let's get you to bed." He told as he gently unwrapped my arms from him and began to lead me to his room.
"Do you really think I look nice in my outfit?"
"I do. I haven't seen this dress before."
"I don't wear it a lot." I told as I climbed onto the bed.
"River we need to get you out of these clothes." He told as he gave a chuckle.
"But comfy."
"I know but it won't be comfy in the morning." He told as he got my spare pjs for me.
He placed them on the bed and helped me take my shoes off and I quickly got changed into the pjs. I laid back into bed and Spencer places the covers over me and he joined under. He pulled me into his arms and I let out a sigh.
"I love you so much Spence."
"I love you as well."
