Unexpected.

(Spencer p.o.v)

"Hotch what's happened?" I asked as we all walked over to him.
"The bank is being robbed and they have hostages. I haven't been able to get into contact with Prentiss, Rossi and Finley yet so hopefully they will know to get here soon."
"Why are we here though?" Morgan asked what we all were thinking.
"They are over in Texas dealing with one there so we've been brought on."
"Is Penelope here?" Jj asked
"No. I've kept her at base to keep trying to call the others and let them know the situation. Right now we are waiting for people to finish setting up."
'Thankfully I know River is already safe. I just hope the others aren't in there.'

~( 2 hours earlier )~

I was sitting on my couch reading a book with River making something in the kitchen, but I still couldn't get my mind off of what happened at Halloween.
'Why am I scared that this won't end well? I'm just worried about her and why she ignores the calls.'
"Hey River." I began like my mouth had a mind of its own.
"Yeah?"
"I need to ask you something."
"Of course"
"Why are you getting calls from the Moon mental institution?" I asked as I looked at her
She froze in her spot and I could see her hands were beginning to shake, making me get off the couch to be near her.
"How do you know about that?"
"I accidentally picked up your phone thinking it was mine. I understand completely if your upset at me for doing that, but I need to know if your ok."
"I gotta go to the store and go through the money books. The food I was making is ready to eat" She told before quickly rushing out.
'This is fantastic. Just give her time to think Spencer.  You have nothing to worry about.'

~(back in present time)~

Rossi and Prentiss soon arrived which just left River not being here.
'Why isn't she here yet?'
"Reid! Why isn't River picking up her phone?"
"I wouldn't know why she isn't. She said she was going over the money books last time we talked." I told as I stood with Emily
"Morgan. Call her shop, she might not be hearing her phone go off."
"On it." He told before walking a bit away from us.
"I hope she's ok." Jj told
"I'm sure she's just turned her phone off or something so she wasn't interrupted by any of us or her family."
"They have been in contact a lot recently." I added
"I think she's ignoring Snipers calls now." Jj told
"She never told us about her cousins when she told us about her family the first time." Emily stated making us nod
"I mean I know why she didn't tell you guys about Sniper. She only told me about him a hand full of times before they stopped talking. I'm still not really sure on why she never talks about her other ones though."
"Maybe they also had a falling out." I stated
"Na. I would know since she told me when her and Sniper did. Just so I wouldn't ask how they were going."
"I mean she keeps a lot of secrets from us." Emily added
"Hey Hotch!" Morgan exclaimed as they walked off to some spot so we couldn't hear.
'Strange.'
We saw them talk for a bit till some of the swat members that were here already headed over to him to tell him something which was probably linked to the fact that they may have finally learnt how many people were in there.
"Jj! Reid! I need you two to head back to base. We need you two to profile them and send us information."
"You sure?" Jj asked
"Yes. Please hurry there now."
We quickly left and jumped into one of the cars we used and Jj quickly got us to the base. We made our way in and walked to her office. When we walked into Penelope's office, she turned around and quickly got up to usher us into chairs before locking the door on us.
"Pen what are you doing?" Jj asked
"I was given orders by Hotch that once you two were sitting in my office, to not let either of you leave." She told as she stood in front of the door.
"Why?" I asked as I stood up from the chair.
"I'm not really meant to say."
"Why not?" I asked as I took a step towards her.
"Oh god!" Jj told making me turn to see her lift a hand to her mouth.
I quickly turned back to the desk and looked over at the bank footage. Once I saw what Jj did I completely froze.
'This can't be.....'

(River p.o.v.)

I was sitting on the ground and looked towards the floor as I held a bored look on my face.
'Didn't know I was 8 all over again. What fun.'
