Inside the castle I could hear all the students whispering amongst themselves. Draco pulled me through and everyone stepped out of the way, their whispers silencing. "They're in there." Draco nodded towards the door.

I saw Dumbledore Snape Harry and McGonagall standing there with professor moody and another man. Slowly I pushed open the door, "Alyssa you don't want to be in here." Dumbledore warned. I ignore him staring at the man. "Turn around." I whispered. Moody kept his wand pointed at him. "You." I said. "You know this man?" Snape asked. It was the death eater from the graveyard. "I'm going to kill you." I cried lunging towards him. He didn't even flinch just stood there laughing. I pulled out my wand holding it at his neck. "Put your wand down." Snape ordered. "He was there, in the summer. He deserves to die."

Flashbacks of this man pinning me to the ground played through my mind, my father carving blood traitor in my arm. "you remember me? I'm flattered." Snape cursed my wand out of my hands, "step back Ms. Malfoy." I glared at the man, "that boy in the graveyard? Did you know him?" I connected my fist into the side of his face, "no I have no idea who your talking about." I pushed him back, turning to leave. Harry grabbed my arm, "Don't touch me. I don't want to hear it now but you're going to eventually explain to me why you made it out alive and he didn't." Tonks and Kingsley were now at the door, "he's buried." I nodded trying to stop my eyes from watering.

"Can I please leave?" I asked. Dumbledore nodded, "can you two take her to Sirius', tell them the order needs to be restored?" Kingsley gave me a small smile, "Tonks will go with you to pack your things." The woman walked the halls with me to my dorm, "it's been a while since I've been here." I nodded. "I'm so sorry Alyssa, I've been told how close the two of you were." I wanted to answer but I was to scared I would start crying which wasn't something I wanted to do in front of my common room. "Do you want to come in with me please?" She stepped into the portrait hole following me into the common room.

Almost all of the Gryffindors were sitting in the common room talking quietly to each other. I stepped past them walking straight to my dorm. Quickly I packed my trunk taking one more look to make sure I had everything. "Ready?" Tonks asked. I nodded, walking out of the room not wanting to look back. Hermione stepped in front of me pulling me into a hug. "I'm so incredibly sorry Alyssa." I sighed resting my head on her shoulder, "thank you." She stepped back giving me a small smile beside walking away, Ron squeezed my hand, nodding as I left.

We met Kingsley in the foyer, "are you ready?" I closed my eyes preparing to apparate. When we landed I sighed looking up at the mansion. We entered making Sirius and Remus come to the door confused. "What are you doing here Alyssa?" Tonks handed me my trunk, "I'll tell them why don't you take this to your room."

I walked past Sirius who grabbed my arm, "are you okay?" I shook my head trying so hard to hold back my tears. "Let her go." Remus instructed I went upstairs throwing everything on my bed. I curled up in the chair beside the window. Resting my head against the back of the chair. I stared at the sky, stars were everywhere, I scanned them trying to find one Cedric would like. I lifted my head as the door opened. Remus sat down on the windowsill and Sirius plopped down beside me on the chair. I rested my head against Sirius, "I don't have a lot of advice for you right now. There's probably not much I can say to make you feel better." I closed my eyes, giving them the parchment. "He promised me this." They both looked over it and Sirius pulled me in. "I'm sorry."

"He made me so happy," I admitted. Remus sighed, "I know he did." I felt numb inside, "I keep replaying it. Cedric didn't deserve to die. You knew what he was like, so kind, caring, funny, romantic, incredibly brave." Sirius smiled, "tell me more about him." I shrugged, knowing they were trying to distract me. "I saw the boy almost every day, and I still never got tired of him." My voice was starting to crack, "I don't want to talk about it. I just want to be alone."

Sirius kept hugging me, "you really think there's a chance we're making you go through this alone?" Remus smiled, "you don't have to like us or talk to us, but I think it's obvious we care." I closed my eyes, "it's not fair." I wanted to scream, "we had every single detail of our life planned. It was supposed to get better I was supposed to be happy." Sirius nodded, "he didn't deserve it, and you didn't deserve to lose him." I sighed, "his body and Amos' screams just keep replaying in my head. My father was there, at the task, then he disappeared. He killed Cedric I know it was him. I'm going to kill him." Remus looked out the window, "I know that's what you think you want, but it won't make you feel better." I scoffed standing up, "you're right. The only thing that will make me feel better is if I was dead too."
