A few hours after Remus fell asleep, I sat up, I was about to get out of the room but Sirius was sitting in the corner reading something. "Don't even think about it." I groaned sitting back down. "Is this what you want? Cedric's dead so you're going to stop trying. Do you think that's what he wants?" I glared at Sirius, "stop talking about him, and what he wants. You didn't know him." He shrugged, "I know he'd want you to sleep and eat. And maybe acknowledge his death." I sat back, "don't talk to me. You're just like my father." This made Sirius laugh, "is that so? Who got you away from all that? Who's letting you stay here?" I raised my eyebrow, "what? are you going to kick me out?" He sighed, "obviously not Alyssa." I kicked off my blankets, "just stay the hell away from me."

The next day I refused to speak with Sirius, I did however walk downstairs. I was just getting to the bottom level when I heard a new voice. I pushed open the kitchen door and Sirius was standing there hugging Harry. I stared at Harry feeling emotionless, I turned back around not knowing how to react to seeing him.

When I got back to my room I sat down staring at the wall. "Hey," Fred opened my door. "Hi Fred." He sat down beside me, "mum told me to get you for breakfast, said it's not a choice." I sighed, "is it bad I can't look at Harry." Fred shook his head, "I don't think so." I nodded, "what are you doing today?" He shrugged, "mum's making us clean." I bit my lip, "I'll help you." He smirked, "are you okay?" I rolled my eyes, "yes I just need a distraction."

We went downstairs together, I grabbed a plate eating a little bit of eggs and a piece of toast. "When's your trial Harry?" George asked. I glanced up at him, "why are you on trial?" He wouldn't make eye contact with me, "underage magic." I didn't say anything else. Instead I sat back listening to Harry ask questions about the order. When I was finished I nodded at Fred. "Give me a minute to finish eating women." Remus smiled, "what are you two up too?" Molly raised her eyebrow, "Fred is cleaning, and Alyssa dear you don't have to help, I hope he's not blackmailing you." I grinned, "no he's not I want to help." She nodded, "well good, it will give you something else to think about won't it?"

I gave her a small smile. It felt weird that I was admitting to trying not to think about Cedric, it almost felt wrong. Part of me believed that I should carry around the burden of his death, because it was my job, I was his girlfriend and he was the love of my life.

"Do you two need help?" Harry asked. I scoffed, "I'd prefer to hang out with someone who can actually look at me." Sirius stood up, "enough, Harry I'm sure you can help Ron and Hermione." I shrugged, "ya that'd be best, can't help everyone now can you?" Harry looked up at me, "I truly am sorry." I raised my eyebrow, "why would you be sorry, it isn't your fault now is it?" He shook his head, "he... it's just... he was a good guy." I nodded, "well put, now he's just a dead guy." Remus coughed, and Sirius sighed, "Alyssa.... now isn't the time." I shrugged, "no there really isn't a good time to tell someone the truth about how the love of their life died is there?" Fred stood up, "alright I'm done, you ready?" George also got up, "sure am." I followed the two of them upstairs.

"Are you sure you're up for this?" George asked. I laughed, "that was a little harsh wasn't it?" They both nodded trying to hold in their laughter. "Just a little Alyssa." I shrugged pulling everything out of the closet, beginning to organize and clean everything. George held up a giant bowl. "What is that?" Fred asked. I examined it closer, "that's a pensive." George laughed, "and? What does it do?" I ran my finger along the outside, "a person puts a memory in here, and any other person can live it."

They both shrugged and continued cleaning, but I continued to stare at it, an idea coming to my head. If I wanted the truth I could guilt Harry into giving me the memory in the maze. I would find out everything. I smiled to myself, I was going to get my answers.

When it was supper time Sirius came up to let us know. Fred and George immediately rushed out, and I sighed knowing he was going to have something to say. "Maybe just sit away from Harry, I don't think it's a good idea for you to be near him right now." I pushed past him, spinning around last minute, "ya even I could've told you that, maybe you could've let me know he was coming. I mean I thought this was my home after all." He started to say something but I didn't stay to hear what.
