The rest of my summer went by too quickly, if I said I'd moved on I would be lying. I didn't cry since that day I saw the memory, I promised myself I wouldn't cry for him anymore, I would only get stronger, until I was able to take on Peter, and revenge Cedric.
I packed my Hogwarts things into my trunk, and sat down on my bed looking over the book filled with pictures of Cedric and I. Our last night we had a plan to watch a muggle movie together. "Supper." Molly shouted. I left my room sitting down at the table with everyone, "eat up children." I grabbed a plate putting a little bit of almost everything she had prepared. "You all ready to go back?" Sirius asked. I listened as they all offered their opinions, I noted that Harry had not answered. He probably was not interested in going back, and I felt the same.
Tonks offered me a sip of her beer, "No Tonks." Sirius said from across the table. She shrugged, "she's just as much my family as she is yours." I smiled, "it's okay." She nudged me, "don't let grumpy over there stop ya, you deserve it kid." Remus raised his eyebrow, and Fred and George were cheering me on. "I don't handle alcohol well." She laughed, "one sip won't kill you, and I wanna hear that story after." I sighed giving in, I scrunched my face. "Not fire whiskey is it?" Remus joked. Tonks smiled, "go on, tell me that story." I laughed, "I don't think that's a story anyone needs to hear."
Harry set his fork down, "I think it is, I remember waking down the halls, and all of a sudden running into Alyssa who could barley put one foot in front of the other. Lord knows what she was doing out on her own, trying to get expelled." I smiled, and he continued. "Anyway we ran into professor snape, and I was holding onto her cloak just to keep her standing. Apparently we didn't do a great job of hiding it though." Remus shook his head, "no, you really didn't." I looked away, and Tonks laughed, "oh it happens to everyone, don't worry." Sirius raised his eyebrow, "no it actually doesn't. Just people who can't handle their drinks." I stuck my tongue out at him continuing to eat. Tonks told me her stories of drinking until Remus stoped her, "the girl doesn't need any more ideas." She nudged me, "we will talk later."
I helped clean the table and then changed into my pjs. When I got back downstairs almost every chair was full, Molly was making us snacks and drinks for the movie. I saw Remus and Sirius on the arm chair together, I jumped onto them, and Sirius raised his knee as a reflex sending me crashing onto the floor. Everyone burst out laughing and Remus pulled me up, hugging me tightly, "poor little baby." He joked sarcastically, Sirius tried to apologize but he could barely contain his laughter. I stayed in Remus' arms enjoying the feeling of comfort and love, even though I'd never admit it out loud. Sirius leaned onto Remus, and I stretched my legs onto his lap. "Comfy there?" Remus joked. I nodded laying my head down. "Good. At least someone is." Sirius replied. Remus raised his eyebrow, "I don't think you have much to complain about Sirius."
Molly passed out bowls of popcorn, Remus took ours smiling. "This is a game changer," he whispered to me and Sirius. I watched as he broke up pieces of chocolate mixing it in with the popcorn. I tried it, nodding in approval. "It's good." He smiled, and we started the movie.
I felt my eyes getting heavier as the movie went on and eventually I stopped fighting it falling asleep. After the movie was done I felt myself being shaken awake. "The movies over." I opened my eyes seeing that I was still curled up on Remus. Everyone else had gone to bed. "We just let you sleep for a bit." I sat up slowly, "can I stay with you?" I asked smiling my nicest smile. "Let's go kid." Sirius sighed. Remus raised his eyebrow, "I think that's a yes." I nodded, "I think so too." I went straight to their room giving Sirius another sweet smile. "Get in." I jumped onto their bed excited, "I just dont want to go to bed yet, let's have a conversation." I suggested. Sirius gave Remus an annoyed look, "what on earth would you like to talk about at 1 in the morning." I shrugged, "any ideas Remus?" He laughed sitting down, "why don't we talk about why you're sitting in our bed talking your face off." I shrugged laying face down, "fine if you don't want to talk to me I won't ever talk again."
Sirius put a pillow on top of my head, "do you hear anything?" He asked Remus. Remus laughed, "absolutely nothing. Night." When the pillow was taken off I rolled over staring at the ceiling. "When did you get here?" Sirius joked. I yawned, trying to think of a response. "Night kid." I gave him a small smile, "night."
