With West Side Story coming up so quickly, pretty much all of Trouble Tones rehearsals had been put on hold because so many members part of the musical. While Santana and Rachel were onstage rehearsing one of their scenes together, Keilani was hiding out near the back of the auditorium with Kurt. Now that she wasn't in the New Directions, Keilani and Kurt had less time to hang out than ever and took every moment they could to catch up. While Keilani still talked with most of the New Directions members and tried to remain in good terms with them all, there were several members she had barely spoken to since the day she quit – namely Finn, Rachel, and Mr. Shue.

"So..." Kurt began in a low voice, not wanting to interrupt the song happening up onstage. "Sebastian Smythe. Warbler and frequent customer at the Lima Bean with a face like a meerkat and hair that belongs on the CW channel. What do you know about him?"

Knowing instantly who he was talking about, Keilani frowned. "He has a super elaborate coffee order and never tips, despite giving off major rich white boy vibes. He can also be a major asshole if you screw up even the tiniest part of it."

"So...I'm guessing you don't like him?"

"Absolutely not."

Kurt looked across the auditorium to make sure Blaine was still sitting at the edge of the stage wings and turned back to Keilani when he saw that his boyfriend was still there. "He made a move on Blaine, and after I made it pretty clear that we're in a relationship, he only seemed to turn up the heat."

"Alright, so I hate him even more. What does Blaine have to say all about this?"

Although he sighed in a loving way, Kurt couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Blaine...in all his sweetness and adorableness...is absolutely oblivious." Kurt shot Keilani a pointed look. "Just like someone else I know."

When Keilani stared at him in a confused way, Kurt let out a loud sigh of exasperation. "Come on! You can't tell me you haven't noticed Daniel sneaking looks at you this entire rehearsal. And we both know that he was picking up that choreography pretty easily, even before he asked you for help on it. In fact, he was unusually good at the choreo."

Keilani looked over to where Daniel was sitting near the back of the auditorium. He seemed fully engaged in a conversation with another one of the boys on the football team and wasn't looking anywhere near where she was sitting. Keilani turned to Kurt with a victorious smile. "He isn't even looking in my direction. You're a liar. Plus, I told him that fun fact about how the original Sharks or Jets weren't allowed near each other outside of rehearsal in the original Broadway production, and he seemed to think it was weird that I knew that."

Huffing in an irritated way, Kurt rolled his eyes once more before reviewing his sheet music. Kurt loved Keilani, but she could be just as oblivious as his boyfriend when it came to being hit on. Hell, Blaine didn't even notice Kurt's painfully obvious crush on him until Kurt admitted his feelings.
