Kurt and Rachel had gotten the alumni to come back for one more week to help get the Glee club back on its feet. As Rachel was explaining the assignment to the new students, Keilani leaned over to Mike and whispered, "Is it bad that one of the reasons I'm here is to see if Kurt and Rachel get into any fights?"
"Why do you think I help out so much with choreo?" Mike whispered to her. "Yeah, I love helping the students. But the drama is so much more fun."
Keilani held out her hand, and Mike high-fived it with so much enthusiasm her palm stung. Still, she grinned and nodded in agreement.
Rachel had gotten Brittany and Santana to go first as an example for the new students. As the couple performed their mash-up of 'Hand in My Pocket' and 'I Feel the Earth Move', Keilani couldn't help but notice how Santana kept trying to get her girlfriend to sit down in a chair. Once they finished, Kurt was the first to applaud and exclaim, "And that's how a mash-up is done everyone!"
"No, actually this is," Santana responded, initially confusing everyone in the room. She then pulled the chair she had been trying to get Brittany to sit in for the entire number and asked, "Britt, can you take a seat?"
Immediately understanding what was about to go down, Keilani's jaw dropped as Mike grabbed her arm, both of them beaming with happiness at what was about to happen.
"So, I figured that this is a good place as any to ask you this question. Mainly because it's going to really upset all the single guys and gals in here," Santana began. "I want to mash up with you forever, Britt. I mean, some people love someone because they make them a better person, and that's not why I love you because you've always wanted me to be myself. You're my favorite person in the world, and we're a big deal, you know? Like no matter how many times we've tried to put our thing down and walk away from it, we can't because I don't want to walk away from my one true love. And I normally use a lot of words when I'm saying something negative, so since this is the most positive thing I'm ever going to do...I'm going to keep it simple."
On the verge of happy tears, Keilani was already reaching into her bag to hand tissues to Mercedes and Tina, and she even pretended not to notice Puck sneak a few as well.
Santana went down on one knee and pulled a small red box out of the pocket of her dress, revealing a gorgeous diamond ring. "Brittany S. Pierce...will you marry me?"
"Oh my God, I'd love to," Brittany responded happily as she leaned down to kiss Santana, and loud cheers filled the room from all their ecstatic friends.
Well, everyone except one person was over the mind with excitement.
The group was so focused on Brittany and Santana that didn't they didn't see Kurt standing up until he spoke up. "I'm sorry. I just have to speak now or forever hold my peace."
