Kurt and Mercedes had called the New Directions to the auditorium, most likely for a performance. As the group waited in the audience for the pair to make their way on stage, Quinn sat next to Keilani and point-blank told her, "I broke up with Biff."
Keilani instantly sat up straight in her seat, and Santana leaned over from the row behind slightly to hear the conversation better. "You what? Really?"
"You'll never have to willingly see Biff again," Quinn continued, and Keilani had to fight back the urge to start jumping for joy. "He found out about Beth, said some terrible things, and I had this sudden epiphany I can't keep letting guys like that into my life."
"Good. You're too good for assholes like that."
"You think I would've learned that lesson after so many bad relationships. I know said this so many times before, but I'm going to stop getting into such terrible relationships," Quinn muttered to herself, letting out a small bitter laugh. "But, even if my horrible dating life doesn't come to an end, I certainly won't be dating anyone like Biff again in the near future. Not if I can help it. So I sent him back to Yale, and I hope I never see his ass again."
"I wish you would've sent him into an early grave..." Santana remarked, causing Keilani to reach across and high-five her.
The girls' conversation was interrupted by Kurt and Mercedes walking onto the stage. "You know," Mercedes began. "Being here with everyone has brought back so many good feelings and memories."
"But, alas, with the old good feelings come the old bad ones too. Why, just today, Mercedes and I were in the lunch line when a battle from way back in the day came out, and we found ourselves at each others throats again," Kurt said. He paused for moment before continuing, "Yes, I know, It's really hard seeing friends fighting. But, I'm just glad none of you guys were there to see it."
"I was literally standing with you guys when it happened," Keilani pointed out, laughing a little to herself as she thought back to the heated exchange between her two best friends over tater tots.
Both Kurt and Mercedes decided to ignore Keilani's comment in an attempt to keep pushing their message. "The most upsetting thing is watching two people you love fight about something ridiculous and there not be nothing you can do to stop it. Thankfully though, we made up, and we've never been closer."

The choir room, which had been nearly cleaned yesterday afternoon, had now been covered from head to toe with lilies from Brittany for Santana. Even though Keilani was all for romantic gestures, especially when it came to two of her favorite people in the world, she hated the fact that she had been stuck with the aftermath of it all.
