It was Disco Week for the New Directions, and Keilani had to keep it a secret how much she was enjoying the music. While she definitely wasn't the biggest disco fan in the world, there was just something about the Saturday Night Fever songs that made her want to get up and start dancing. But with nearly everyone else in the New Directions hating on the disco music, Keilani was trying her best to keep it a secret.

Keilani almost gasped with excitement when she walked into choir room and saw their normally plain floor replaced with a bright white dance floor. She tried to hide this, but two of her best friends picked up on her feelings a lot faster than she had anticipated.

"Don't even try to hide how excited you are for this lesson," Mercedes pointed out, poking Keilani on the cheek in an attempt to tease the already embarrassed girl.

When Keilani started to protest this, Kurt rolled his eyes and added, "Both of us saw you dancing along to Blaine's performance. It seemed like you were itching to be out there with him."

"I could never dance beside Brittany and Mike. I'd look like a baby taking their first steps, and their feet also happen to made of lead. A literal disaster."

"Not the point!" Mercedes shot back, almost wanting to laugh at the comparison Keilani made.

"It's a little catchy..." Keilani eventually admitted with a small smile, causing Kurt and Mercedes to grin victoriously.

Meanwhile, Brittany had much more pressing matters on her mind, and in a confused voice, she questioned aloud, "Did someone steal our floor?"

"Don't worry, we'll have it back by the end of the week," Mr. Shue answered as he laughed a little at Brittany's question. "In the mean time, Coach Sue has lent us–"

"My very own personal, one-of-a-kind, lit-from-within, shatterproof Plexiglass dance floor," Coach Sylvester interrupted with a smug grin as she gestured proudly to the dance floor. "Modeled, of course, by the dance floor immortalized by a young, musky John Travolta at the height of his potency in the legendary dansical, Saturday Night Fever."

Rachel's hand shot in the air, and she didn't even wait to be called on to say, "Coach Sylvester, while we applaud your use of the proper terminology, we told Mr. Shue that we don't support disco in this room."

"But some of you do," Mr. Shue responded as he pointed over to Blaine, who was practically bouncing with excitement next to Kurt. "So for this week's assignment, we're going back in time to the songs of Saturday Night Fever."

"I would give anything to sing 'Boogie Shoes' on that floor," Keilani whispered, staring down at the light-up floor with wide, excited eyes. Sam heard this nearby, and couldn't help but smile to himself.
