All the New Directions members, new and old, had reunited for the Glee club's final moments together before they were disbanded by Principal Sylvester once and for all. Keilani wanted to hold out hope that maybe this would be one of the many times where they would insist the Glee Club would be disbanded, but at the last minute, it would be saved again. But, she had a gut feeling that it would be different this time – that the New Directions would be nonexistent after this year.
So, she figured she would celebrate with the New Directions while she still had the chance. With graduation on top of everything else going on, Keilani just wanted to a have fun final two weeks of school before she left McKinley High for good.
"Keilani!"
She turned her head to see Quinn Fabray walking towards her and holding hands with a guy who looked like the walking stereotype of a snobby rich boy. When Quinn had mentioned that she was bringing her boyfriend to Lima, Keilani had been apprehensive about meeting him. As the two approached her, Keilani couldn't help that he was more focused on his phone than the conversation happening in front of him. "Biff, this is Keilani. She's the one I told you about who's going to Yale next year."
Biff managed to look up from his phone to glance at Keilani, giving her a quick once over. The judgement behind his eyes as he took in Keilani's olive dress that probably cost less than his belt and tattered white high-tops already made her uncomfortable, but that feeling was further solidified when he said, "Really? You?"
"Biff," Quinn warned.
Keilani wanted to stomp on his loafers that probably cost a quarter of Yale's yearly tuition. But instead, she gritted her teeth and managed a smile. "You're looking at a member of the Yale Class of 2017."
At least my parents didn't pay my way in.
Quinn could sense the tension between the two of them, so she could quickly cut in, "The meeting is starting soon, you should probably head out of here for that. I can meet you at the hotel after I'm done, alright?"
Biff didn't need any convincing to stay, giving Quinn a quick kiss on the cheek before heading out of the choir room. Once he was out of earshot, Keilani turned to Quinn and bluntly said, "I really hope this is another one of your relationships where you're not actually into this guy and are dating him for some ulterior motive."
Quinn didn't answer and instead flashed her a smile before turning her head and immediately jumping into a conversation with Mike. Thankfully, Santana was nearby and not in the midst of a conversation, and Keilani knew she could rant to her without any judgment.
"I may need you to bail me out of jail for murder," Keilani whispered as she stood next to her.
"Can't do that if I'm already in there with you," Santana said in completely serious voice, glaring at Rachel as she did. "Who's got you so angry you're contemplating murder?"
