All anyone at McKinley had been talking about was the upcoming Sadie Hawkins dance that the student council had organized. Inspired, Finn had asked the Glee club to meet in one of the science classrooms to talk about the week's assignment.

Practically skipping into the classroom, Sugar grinned in awe and exclaimed, "I want to sit under Venus!"

"I wanna sit under Uranus!" Sam called out, causing Keilani and Blaine to snort with laughter. Completely oblivious to what was wrong with what he had said, he waited until him and Keilani were sitting next to each other on the table before he whispered, "What's so funny?"

Shaking her head, Keilani's shoulders shook with suppressed laughter as she responded, "Nothing, nothing."

Even though Sam was definitely sure that her and Blaine weren't laughing over "nothing, he quickly became distracted Finn clapped his hands together to get the Glee club's attention. "So this week in the Glee club, it's the ladies choice, inspired by the Sadie Hawkins dance!" He announced. "And every girl will sing to whoever they want to take the dance!"

"I, for one, love this assignment," Kitty contributed as she glanced at Jake, who didn't seem to notice the way Kitty was eyeing him up. "I've got a song that I want to sing to somebody."

Keilani and Unique turned to look at Marley, who's eyes were wide with fear as at the thought of Jake going to the dance with Kitty instead of her. "Let's hope that person actually wants to go with you," Keilani muttered, earning a snort of laughter from Unique and a dark glare from Kitty.

She felt a poke in her shoulder and turned to see Sam grinning excitedly at her. "So what are you going to sing to me?" He whispered as Finn kept explaining the assignment. "All your past promposals have been totally awesome, so I'm expecting something amazing."

"I don't know..." Keilani teased, a small giggle escaping her lips. "Might be asking Brittany."

Brittany, who had been resting her head on Keilani's knee, looked up at Sam and winked. "I can totally steal your girl if I want."

"Please don't," Sam responded, wrapping a protective arm around Keilani's shoulder. "I kinda want to keep dating her."

Keilani happened to glance at Blaine, and she noticed that he had a pained look in his eyes that he was trying to hide. "Hey," She began quietly. "You alright?"

Letting out a sigh, Blaine admitted, "It's just...I don't have the best memories with Sadie Hawkins dances."

Keilani's eyes softened. "You don't have to go if you want," She reassured. "But if you end up wanting to go, you don't even need a date. You can totally just dance with me and Sam. We'll have the best night ever."
