Every morning, Keilani would always meet up with Sam at his locker after dropping off her own textbooks so the two had the chance to spend time together before being whisked off to their different classes. Sometimes their friends would join them, and neither Sam or Keilani usually minded, as long they got the time together.

That day, it was a certain gel-haired boy who would be the one to join them, but for a much stranger reason than either of them anticipated. Blaine found Sam standing with Keilani at his locker with a arm around wrapped loosely her waist. "Here," Blaine began, holding up the money. "Don't tell anyone, and you don't have to thank me."

Sam's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Dude, what are you doing?"

"It's only 50 bucks. Just take the money," Blaine insisted. "I know what you've been up to, and it just has to stop."

Sam glanced at Keilani, who seemed just as lost as he was. "What are you talking about?"

"Last week, I found a shortcut between my locker and the parking lot – walking through the cafeteria cuts out fifteen seconds from my daily routine. And yesterday, I saw something. At first I thought you two were trying to find a place to make out, but then I saw you two stuffing a bunch of pasta boxes in Sam's backpack."

Blaine tried to place the money in Sam's hand again and continued, "I know your dad's been struggling, and I just wanted to help you out! Hunger's a big problem in this country. Although, so is obesity, which is confusing."

As Keilani let out a small laugh, Sam stepped forward and admitted in a quiet voice, "I have been stealing pasta. But it's not for dinner. It's...it's art."

Sam then covered Blaine's eyes and Keilani grabbed both his hands to lead him to the empty classroom Sam had been using to store his art. When Sam lifted his hands off of Blaine's eyes, the dark-haired boy stared in shock at the artwork around the room. "Are those...macaroni portraits?"

"They're my guilty pleasure," Sam explained proudly, gesturing around the room at all the different portraits. "My art teacher thinks I'm some sort of genius."

"Marley told me where the lunch ladies keep all the expired pasta so we've been stealing that," Keilani added. "Considering Principal Figgins would probably try and serve that to us if we didn't take it, I think we're doing a service to McKinley. Plus, they're really freaking awesome. He even did one of me!"

"Keilani's portrait is my favorite," Sam grinned. "I also made ones of Emma Stone, Ralph Macchio, and those guys from Duck Dynasty. I even made one of Kurt."

"The macaroni really captures him," Blaine sighed, staring at the portrait of Kurt longingly. "Thank you for sharing this with me. It's really incredible."
