After finally getting over his illness, Mr. Shue was back and ready to get the Glee club prepared for Regionals. Gathering everyone in the auditorium, Mr. Shue had all the students sit in a circle around him before holding up an envelope to show off to the group. "I hold in my hand, ladies and gentleman, our competition for Regionals! Drumroll, please!"
The teenagers drummed their hands repeatedly on the floor as Mr. Shue dramatically pulled the piece of paper out of the envelope. "From North Central High School in Indianapolis, the Hoosierdaddies. And from Our Lady of Perpetual Loneliness in Battle Creek, Michigan, the Nun-Touchables," He announced. "Guys, I like our chances against both these squads, but we still go a lot of work to do."
"Mr. Shue please stop talking, I have announcement," Brittany interrupted with a solemn look on her face. "I regret to inform you that a deadly asteroid is heading our way."
"Wait, didn't we just go through this at Christmas?" Blaine questioned aloud.
"Shut up, Blaine," Brittany shot back. "I'm naming this comment Tubbington-Bopp, and it is headed straight for Lima."
"Wait, so it is an asteroid or a comet?" Artie asked.
"It's both."
Just as confused as everyone else in the room, Marley piped up and asked, "Wouldn't NASA know something about this?"
Brittany shook her head. "We can't trust NASA. I mean, last month a meteor exactly like Tubbington-Bopp hit Russia with no warning at all. And when this meteorite hits, I will not be spending my time in this room preparing for Regionals. I will be spending my last hours making amends with somebody who I need to get right with. Someone who I love very much: Lord Tubbington. So go back to your home and hide your wide, hide your kids and hide your wife.
"I don't think I can physically put you all into hiding," Keilani whispered, looking around the stage at all her friends and letting out a small laugh. "Plus, I don't really have a bomb shelter to put you all in anyways."
Brittany gave the room one more defiant look and declared, "McKinley High, I salute you."

Keilani's Thursday had started out relatively normal as she walked over to the choir room for New Directions rehearsal. Just as she reached the choir room, though, Brittany hooked her arm with Keilani's and asked, "Bathroom run before rehearsal?"
Even though she didn't need to use the bathroom, Keilani nodded and let Brittany lead her off without saying goodbye to anyone else in the Glee club, figuring she'd only be gone for a few short moments. There was a bathroom right across from the choir room, so it was only a few seconds before they were inside.
