Keilani had been sitting quietly in the choir room, trying to finish up her math homework before the rehearsal started, when she suddenly felt Mercedes grab onto her arm. "We've got another one!" Mercedes exclaimed frantically, much to the confusion of Keilani.
"Another what?"
"Another pregnancy!"
Like the last one wasn't enough drama.
"Is it Quinn again?" Keilani questioned, causing the blonde girl nearby to roll her eyes playfully.
"You do realize I'm in the Chastity Club right?" Quinn said to her.
"Didn't stop you last time."
The words slipped out of Keilani's mouth, and she slapped her hands over them, horrified that she had even said it. Before she even had the chance to apologize, Santana began cackling with laughter, along with many others in the room. Even Quinn let out a small chuckle, not too angry over Keilani's comment and instead finding it humorous.
Mercedes, who had been laughing loudly before with the rest of the room, calmed herself down enough to tell Keilani the gossip. "No, no. It's Brittany."
Before Keilani even had the time to be shocked, Mr. Shue walked into the room, fully ready to start rehearsal. However, once he caught sight of the Artie's horrified face staring blankly at the wall in front of him, Mr. Shue realized that now might not be a good time to have rehearsal.
"How am I supposed to support baby?" Artie said, his eyes still wide with fear. "How could you not tell me?"
Mr. Shue turned to Brittany, who was whispering an apology to Artie. "Brittany, are you pregnant?"
"Definitely...I'm so sorry, Artie," Brittany replied softly, laying a comforting hand on Artie's arm. "I thought I could surprise you when I dropped him off. I'm pretty sure its a boy."
"Uh...babies don't get dropped off," Puck chimed in, confused like many others in the room. Keilani, however, understood immediately why Brittany thought she was pregnant. With wide eyes, she turned to look at Mercedes, who was clearly having the same idea as her that Brittany might not actually be pregnant.
"Wait, have you seen a doctor yet?" Mr. Shue asked. "That's the only way you can be sure."
"I don't need to see a doctor. I just need to look outside my window!" Brittany replied brightly, which only confused the room even more. "A few days ago, a stork built its nest outside my window on my garage. It's obviously getting ready to bring me my baby. I know where babies come from."
Keilani had to bit her bottom lip to keep herself from giggling, but was still shocked to hear those words come out of Brittany's mouth. Next to her, Mercedes looked absolutely flabbergasted, and, out of the corner of her eye, Keilani could see Sam shaking his head with a small smirk on his face.
