With only a few days to go until graduation, the Glee club was trying to celebrate their last moments together and recent Nationals win. The original six members of the group were recreating their infamously horrible first song 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat' for the group, despite them forgetting most of the harmonies and choreography. Keilani could barely sing as she spent half the song laughing as she remembered that disastrous first rehearsal, and she was glad that Artie didn't run over her foot this time around.
Despite the six students stumbling their way through the number, the New Directions burst into applause and cheers when they hit their final pose.
"That was the most ghetto number I've ever seen," Santana commented, a little glad that she hadn't joined the group at this point in time so she didn't have to suffer through the number.
"Then just call me George Jefferson because we went from the ghetto to the penthouse. National champs, baby!" Artie whooped, throwing his hands up in the air out of celebration.
This earned several more cheers, but the mood quickly quietened down when Mr. Shue stepped up to the whiteboard and simply wrote "Goodbye" in the center and underlining it.
"This week's assignment is easy," Mr. Shue instructed, trying to get not sad as he looked around at all the seniors that would be saying goodbye before he even knew it. "Graduation is just a few short days away. There's nothing left to prepare for. Our work here is done, so there's only one thing left to do: Say goodbye. Underclassmen, pick a song to say goodbye to the seniors. Seniors, pick a song to say goodbye to us."
"A part of me wants to lock these doors and stay in here with everyone forever," Mercedes admitted with a sigh, pushing Sam's arm off Keilani's shoulder so she could wrap her arms around Keilani as if she didn't want to let go – which, she didn't.
Brittany had already thought ahead to this. "We can use the wastebasket for the toilet, and then we could eat Joe for the food, since she's been here the shortest, so we know her the least."
Laughing a little to himself, Mr. Shue reached over to grab his guitar and sit down on a small stool at the center of the room.
"I really hope you're about to rap," Quinn said with a playful laugh.
"Oh God please no," Keilani muttered.
Fortunately for her, Mr. Shue started strumming on his guitar instead, choosing to sing 'Forever Young' as a way for all the students to reminisce on all the happy and joyful times they had in that choir room.

Santana had been walking to her locker as she did every other day when she suddenly found herself running into a mass of huge balloons. "What is this crap?" She yelled as she pushed her way through only to find Mercedes at the center of all the celebration.
