With Regionals on the horizon, the New Directions had decided to do Michael Jackson for the upcoming competition. Keilani was ecstatic to finally be taking on Michael, especially after missing out on performing it with the New Directions at Sectionals, and had spent more of her shift at the Lima Bean thinking about song options rather than make coffee orders.

On the other side of the coffee shop, a large group of the New Directions members sat around a table, talking excitedly about their icon, Michael Jackson.

Pointing at Artie, the known super-fan, Blaine said excitedly, "Favorite Michael memory, go!"

"When I was 1, my mom showed me the VHS tape of his Motown special, and when he did the moonwalk across the stage for the first time in history, I uttered my first words," Artie told them with a wistful smile. "Hot damn."

"I owe the King of Pop a debt of gratitude," Kurt chimed in eagerly. "He was the first to pull off a sequined military jacket, long before one Kurt Hummel made it iconic."

Turning to the counter with a pressing question on his mind, Artie called out, "Keilani! Favorite Michael song!"

Looking up for a brief moment from a Keilani thought about the question for a second before grinning as she settled on one that had always been one of her favorites. "'Human Nature' is an underrated classic."

One of Keilani's coworkers Lela nudged her in the shoulder and told her to go up to the register to help a customer. Slipping into customer service mode, Keilani smiled brightly and said, "Hi, welcome to the Lima Bean what can I–"

Keilani's grin faltered when she saw Sebastian standing there with a smug grin on her face. As much as she knew that she was on the clock, Keilani wanted really badly to throw the scalding mocha sitting nearby on the bench all over his Warblers jacket.

"How's it going, Kaylee?"

"It's Keilani." She gestured down to her apron, trying her best to hide annoyed she was. "It's right here on my name tag."

"Honestly, I really don't care," Sebastian smirked. "I'm assuming you know my order by this point, considering I have to remind you of it every time you mess it up."

As she glared down at the coffee cup as she scribbled down his order, Keilani didn't feel like mentioning she had deliberately messed up his order more than a few times.

When Sebastian looked away for a moment, Keilani caught eyes with Kurt and Santana across the shop and gestured with her head over to Sebastian. Both of them, who hadn't noticed him enter the coffee shop, sent her a thankful look and leaned over to the New Directions to whisper that one of their worst enemies had just entered the café.
