I feel so... dizzy right now. The idea that my mother left us to go start a second family is just bizarre. She wouldn't do that. I don't think any decent mother would do that. Why am I even calling her a decent mother when she just got up and left the family with all of her possessions leaving no note or reason as to why she left?  A decent mother would discuss with the family how she is feeling to come up with a coping strategy that won't hurt anyone.

E: [fast asleep in bed]

B: [knocks on door] Evin, you need to get up.

E: [wakes up] How the hell did you get into the house? [sits up]

B: [slightly opens door] I have a key. Can I come in?

E: Sure, whatever.

B: [comes in] What has you sleeping so late?

E: Says the man who stays up all night every night.

B: [sighs] You fell asleep yesterday after waking up, are you getting enough rest at night?

E: What time is it?

B: Around one.

E: I slept for 15 hours then. I think that's more than enough.

B: [thinking] I don't think that's really healthy. Have you been able to get a full night's sleep in the past week or so?

E: I don't even know what I did yesterday, never mind the past week.

B: You could easily pull a Beatles fact out of the air if you wanted, though.

E: Exactly. Because that sort of stuff is more important than the mundane everyday things that happen in our lives.

B: The White Album's backstory won't be very useful to you when you're talking to your doctor about why you don't sleep properly.

E: Never have, never will.

B: Is something bothering you?

E: You mean, every aspect of my life?

B: No Evin.

E: [gets out of bed and walks to bathroom]

B: Where are you going?

E: To pee. [closes bathroom door]

B: [sighs and shakes head] Would you like some breakfast?

E: [yells] Some toast would be lovely please.

B: [rolls eyes and smiles] Alright.

//

B: How about we make a start on your college work?

E: How about you [in Irish] go and look up at space for hours and mind your own business instead?

B: I'm not sure why you just said, but I don't think it was very nice.

E: And what about it?

B: Sometimes you're just not a very nice person, and it's not who you really are. Has Maya been bothering you at all?

E: No.

B: Anything wrong with friends?

E: No.

B: Are there any issues with all the internet stuff?

E: None whatsoever.

B: So, there's nothing wrong right now and everything is just business as usual?

E: Precisely, yes.

B: Are you sure?

E: I am.
