It doesn't feel like a Thursday to me. I should've been starting back to school today but since I was expelled, I doubt I'll even be allowed to step food in the grounds again. Considering there are a lot of layers to this expulsion, I just know they want nothing to do with me. I was the problem child they didn't want because my grades were "too poor" for their standards and would "bring down statistics". It's a miracle they even let me back in the first place, especially as I failed every single one of my exams. Hey, I failed them spectacularly.

I guess I should stop dwelling so much and go get breakfast. Both my dad and Olivia are downstairs chatting away while having something to eat. What harm would it do to me to join them? It'll be a good way to start the day. I have a busy day today - video, volunteering, another video, record hunting and band practice. I know it's not really a typical day for someone my age, but it's just the current reality I live in.

E: ¡Buenos días papá, buenos días tía!

Graham: ¡Buen día cariño!

Olivia: Did you have a good sleep?

E: Mhmm not really. But let's be honest here, we all know I don't sleep well.

G: Well, you're awake now, so have some breakfast.

E: I guess I will. [grabs toast slice] What was that bang I heard about 20 minutes ago?

O: Oh, that was just your father trying to cook the facon. [AN: Vegan bacon is called facon, a play on fake-on]

E: 46 years on this planet and you still can't be trusted or left alone in the kitchen. What is it papá? What is stopping you from being able to use anything in the kitchen?

G: Hija, I'm just not skilled in that sort of way.

E: Only thing you can use is the coffee machine 10 times a day.

O: That's true.

G: Hey!

O: To be honest, you haven't got a clue in the kitchen.

E: Oh dear!

G: [sighs] Are you doing much today Evin?

E: I'm just going to the food bank, record hunting and band practice.

G: I know I'm taking you to the food bank but who's taking you to go record hunting?

E: Brian is.

G: Where are you going?

E: Camden!

G: What time are you going?

E: 3pm

G: Are you getting picked up at the food bank?

E: Yes.

G: Now that's established, I need to ask you something.

E: Like what?

G: Do you want anything for your 18th birthday?

E: A new, friendlier government and to get rid of the monarch.

G: Now, we can't start armed rebellion but we can hope. Are you sure you don't want anything?

E: Papá, all I want is My Chemical Romance back or a McFly show but I don't think any of those will happen.

G: Are you sure about the McFly thing?!

E: They're all preoccupied pa.

G: Evin, you're not meant to know this, but McFly are playing in the O2 arena the day after your 18th.
