Wednesdays are usually hit or miss for me. This one in particular isn't bad. The sun is out, nothing is getting in the way, and I don't feel too tired. I have things to be doing but no rush to do them. I can simply take my time in doing so. What kind of bollocks am I talking right now? Pfft, anyways. Maya has been talking to someone on the phone all morning and has been texting away like she's writing an essay, yet she won't tell me why. What secret is there to be hiding here?
{Maya's POV}
M: [on the phone in the attic] So when should we actually tell Evin the O2's been booked? Really I should be asking who should be telling them?
D: I wouldn't mind telling them, I'm usually their contact point for stuff like this.
B: I wouldn't mind either, but if you feel more comfortable doing it Dan, I'm more than happy for it to be you.
C: Evin gets very excited very easily so if we're going to tell them, it best be somewhere like the living room where they can't accidentally injure themselves.
M: They still have a scar from the album date announcement.
C: How do they manage it?
M: I really don't know.
B: It needs to be done by the end of the week so the sale can start on Monday. Could you manage it?
D: Certainly. I better get back to work before the boss chews my head off.
{Evin's POV}
E: [eating cereal in kitchen]
G: [walks into kitchen on call] That's good, bye bye now. [ends call] What has you alone again?
E: Maya had an "important call" to deal with, she doesn't seem to be ending it anytime soon.
{Maya's POV}
M: Yeah, I better head too before Evin finds out.
B: I'll forward any further information, you all have a good day.
C: You too!
M: Ciao. [ends call]
{Evin's POV}
G: It wouldn't be any sort of college interview, at least not yet, so rule that one out. [begins to make coffee] It definitely wouldn't be her family.
E: [looks over] Papá how many cups of coffee have you already had today?
G: [glossing over] 4?
E: Why don't you, instead of making multiple small cups, make a large cup of coffee that will last you longer?
G: This is the largest mug in the house.
E: [drinks juice] ¡¿En serio?!
G: 400ml.
E: That would be [calculates] almost 8 litres of coffee in a day.
G: First of all, you did not work that out properly, secondly, what's 4x4?
E: 24?
G: [half joking] Evin I think you need a maths tutor.
E: [missing the joke] Well, not really considering I don't go to school anymore.
G: [gets phone call] I may go take this, permiso. [walks to office]
M: [comes into kitchen] I take it I missed the party?
E: Maya who were you talking to?
M: Oh, just people from school. We need to work together for one of our projects.
