I'm starting to think I may have actually broke my foot. It's pretty swollen and I can't move easily. It won't hurt to get up, put some socks on to hide it and get on with the day, right? I'm up earlier than usual this morning too, so why not take advantage of that to take care of myself? Maya is gently snoring. Even with all of our relationship difficulties and differences, I still love her and I can't see myself without her. She was the first person I felt feelings for, and pretty much the only person I've felt feelings for. I'm pretty much aromantic and asexual outside of our relationship. It seems impossible for me to find love, but Maya just happened to be the one.
M: [wakes up] Good morning baby, you're up early.
E: I just couldn't sleep.
M: [notices foot] Ahh... Evin, did you do something to your foot?
E: No.
M: [gets up] Did it get hurt last night?
E: Yeah.
M: Ah. I'm sure you'll be okay later.
E: [grabs Maya]
M: What's wrong baby?
E: You have a big bruise.
M: Oh no... [rushes into bathroom] No... no... I can't be having this.
E: [stands at door]
M: [sighs] It's a good thing I'm not going to school today. I've had enough people think you're abusing me.
E: They know me though, I only beat the shit out of people who are legitimate assholes.
M: Have you got more pads anywhere?
E: I'll go grab them from the other bathroom. [runs out]
G: [stops in hallway] Calm down Evin! No need to run.
E: Maya needs a pad. [wrestles out and goes into other bathroom]
G: Okay then.
E: [rushes back into room] I have them. [gives to Maya]
M: Thank you baby. Evin, go get yourself your breakfast, I'll be down in a few minutes.
E: Okay. [goes downstairs]
Ao: Buen día.
E: Buen día. [sits at table]
O: How come you're up early?
E: I just am. Maya's coming down in a bit. [drinks smoothie] What are you guys doing today?
O: We're going to one of the tenants today because they're experiencing issues with their property so we're going to investigate.
M: [comes downstairs] Good morning everyone! [sits beside Evin]
Aa: [looks at time] We're running late - can't disappoint the tenants.
E: Have a good day.
[Abuela, Abuelo and Olivia leave]
M: Haven't you got an early finish today?
E: [nods]
M: With transport and stuff, should you be home by half 3 at the latest?
E: I think, yeah. I'm out at 1, station is 4 minutes walk, tube to train 5 minutes, stop at Iceland [AN: supermarket in the UK] about 20 to 2, give half an hour to get round, train home is about 10 minutes... 5 minute walk? It might actually just be half 2.
M: Sounds good to me. Do you want to take these upstairs and get ready?
E: Sure! [gets up and walks to bedroom]
