Just another Maya Monday. She is being stroppy once again. Probably triggered by the fact she has to go back to school while I can still get away with lying around and do nothing. The academic tension between us is growing everyday and as my suspension slowly comes to an end, Maya seems to be angrier at me for what I did. She's probably really angry at the fact that I can't do what she does and she struggles to find someone to relate to amongst all this bullshit in our lives. We are on two very different paths right now and I don't think either of them will merge for a while, if they even do.

My focus this week is to rehearse for the Cher shows this coming weekend. I am so excited that it's getting closer to happening, but I'm also quite terrified of something going wrong. That's just natural of me I suppose. It's natural of anyone to think "Oh, how bad is this going to be?" when they are doing something of importance. I have mapped out an 80s playlist of songs to perform and engage the crowds, and plan on finishing with one of my own songs just to sort of "fill in" the night.

M: [ready to leave] I'll see you later Evin.

E: [pouting] Not even a kiss?

M: [walks over and kisses] Bye baby. Be good.

E: I will. [yawns]

M: [leaves room]

E: Nothing stopping me from having another hours sleep is there? [goes back to sleep]

Freddie: Much bother?

E: Too much really. I'm worrying about everything right now. I'm worried about myself, I'm worried about my dad, I'm worried about Maya... I'm terrified for the band. You know Freddie? I'm just constantly worried about something happening to the guys when they're flying around the world on you. I don't know how I'd cope without them, but much more Anita.

F: You need to take a breath darling. You're always so busy. [smokes cigarette] You just need to take life by the balls and carry on.

E: You gonna say anything else?

F: You're just a musical prostitute my dear. You know you're a star and your world agrees with you. You need to make the world agree with that.

E: You.. are right. You are always so right with everything.

F: Go out there and make us proud.

E: I will.

F: Evin... Evin...

G: Evin... you need to get up my dear.

E: [wakes up] Jesus...

G: Bad dreams?

E: Please never let me audition for Drag Race.

G: You'd walk in and all the queens would quit. There's no way I'm letting you remotely near that competition.

E: Not even as a guest judge?

G: Well, maybe you could be a guest judge next season when you're old enough. Don't you have breakfast to be getting to?

E: I do. ¿Papá?

G: Yes my darling?

E: You haven't seen my red ribbon anywhere by any chance?

G: I haven't.

E: I wonder where it's gone. I took it off something to put onto something else but never did because I couldn't find it. I guess my Orinoco chain will have to do in the meantime.

G: I have to go make a call so are you okay to head out when you're ready?

E: Yeah, sure, whatever.
