The Family

𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝟽𝟾 - 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚍

I wake up with puffy red eyes and a sore throat. My phone is next to me and I have 7 missed calls from Giovanni and Ace had text me.

I decide to call Ace first and see what was wrong, he picks up on the first ring, "hey Eiffel you just woke up." He asks and i hum in response.

"Babe it's 3 pm." He says and i remove the phone from my ear and look at the time.

"I was tired I guess." I say with a hoarse voice, my stomach growls and I get out of bed, I make my way towards the kitchen to see if we have any food in the house.

"What's going on with you. You haven't spoken to anyone in days. You've barley left the room. Harlow is really worried." He says and I sigh.

"I'm fine Ace seriously. Look I'm gonna go I'll let you get back to work." I say and he huffs.

"Eiffel." He says, "I love you." He says and i smile.

"I love you too Ace." I say and end the phone call. I call Gio and he asks if I'm alright around 20 times.

"Gio I am serious I'm fine." I say and he sighs. "Please give me a few more days I just need to process everything until I tell him." I say to Gio and sighs.

"Eiffel tell him when your ready. Just know your not alone." He says and ends the call.

For the rest of the day I relax at home, I walk into the bedroom and fall into the bed. I hear Ace walk through the front door and I stand up, i walk around the room and find myself in the nursery.

I sit in the floor and cry. Ace walks into the bedroom and runs to comfort me. He wraps his arms around me and kisses my head. "Baby what's wrong." He says and i just turn my head and cry into his chest.

"Can you take me to Harlow." I say and he nods, he helps me up. We make our way towards the stairs and he lifts me up. He places me into the car and I cry.

He shuts the door and I rest my head onto the window, he climbs into the car. "Babe your going to have to tell me what's wrong." He says as he starts the car.

I shake my head as I cry. "No I can't you'll never look at me the same." I cry and he sighs.

"Baby what happened." He said and I sigh. I just look out the window and play with my hands.

We reach Harlows house and I get out the car as fast as I can. I walk into her house and run up to her. She is sat on sofa with Noah and baby Theo, she notices my distressed state and panics.

"Eiffel." She says and stands up still carrying Theo and walks into the kitchen with me. I sit at the table and she sits next to me.

I sit and look at Theo, I can feel the tear escape my eyes and she looks concerned. I break down crying and she wrap places her hand on my thigh.

"Eiffel what's wrong." She says and I shake my head. I look at Theo as he looks up at Harlow.

"H I can'... I can't." I try to speak through my sobs but she looks confused. I continue to look at Theo and she frowns.

"Eiffel." She says as she has a tears pooling in her eyes. "Tell me what's wrong." She says and I shake my head.

"I can't Harlow. He's going to hate me" I cry and she rubs my leg.

"Eiffel. Did you cheat on Ace." She says and I shake my head. I play with my hands and sigh.

"No I would never." I cry and she rubs my back as she bounces Theo on her knee.

"Eiffel breathe." She says and i breath in and then out. I focus on Controlling my breath, I look at my lap and then back at Harlow.

"Eiffel what's going on your scaring me." She says and I sigh.

"H I went to see a doctor, I thought I could have been pregnant."'I say and she gasps. I shake my head and continue, my chest grows heavy and I sigh. "Har I can't. I c..can't have kids ." I sob and she lets out a little sigh.

"Oh Eiffel honey come here." She says as she puts her arm around me. I look down at Theo causing me to cry harder.

"Have you told him babe." She says and I sigh shaking my head. I sob to Harlow for another 20 minutes then Ace walks in.

"Eiffel baby, come on let's get home." He says and i nod. I stand from the chair and Harlow's grasp, I take Aces hand and he leads me to the front door.

"Eiffel. Call me if you need anything I love you." She says and i smile. I follow Ace out the door to his car and continue to cry.

"I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong. What happened with Giovanni a few days ago." He says and I shake my head climbing into the car.

"Ace please." I cry to him as he steps into the car. He starts driving and I continue to cry.

"Eiffel, please calm down and tell me what's wrong." He says and I shake my head.

We continue driving in silence and he stops the car in the drive way. I sit in the car and just stare out the windshield, I am plucking up the confidence to tell him.

"Ace." I say and he turns to look at me in the car.

"I am so sorry." I cry and he frowns.

"Eiffel what's going on." He says as he take my hands , he looks at me and removes one hand from mine. He wipes my tears away and I relax under his touch.

"I got confirmation the other day , I was late I thought I was pregnant." I say and he squeezes my hand and gasps.

"Ace I can't have kids. He said I had to much trauma to my pelvis. He said it isn't impossible but very unlikely. I'm so sorry." I cry and he leans over the console, he pulls me over onto his lap and hugs me.

"No dont. Never be sorry Eiffel. This is not your fault." He whispers into my ear as I cry onto his shoulder.

"Ace..." I say but he interrupted me by placing his finger over my lips. We sit like this for a while, I cry into his shoulders.

"It's his fault isn't it." He says into my hair and I nod my head. My whole body tenses at the thought of Xavier. I cry into Aces shoulder and he lifts me out the car.
