Gabby's POV
While I was sleeping, I heard some noises in the room. I was going to get up, nervous it was Matteo but he wasn't crying, he was sound asleep. I saw that Antonio was gone but, I could see him and Matt talking in the hallway. Wondering what they were talking about, I decided to ask Matt when he came back in, knowing I wanted to be with him.
That's when I saw Matt come in, smiling at me. "I guess we woke you up the first time I came in after getting back from breakfast?" I looked at him, nodding before reaching out for him. I invited him back onto the bed, wanting him to hold me in his arms. Getting the message, he did just that. He opened the covers and then moved close to me, smiling as we got close.
Once we were both comfortable, I grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes. "I was worried when you guys were talking out there. Is there any bad blood I should be aware about?" He looked at me and shook his head. "No, I was just telling him that I plan on being with you for the long run. He made sure though that our next wedding is a church wedding."
I smiled at the thought of becoming Matt's wife again. "We need to take our time this time around okay? I need to rest and we have a newborn baby to deal with. I am going to need time to heal, and I am going to need to get used to living with you again." He nodded before kissing my forehead and rubbing my arm. I put my hand on his heart and smiled.
"Okay. But, if anybody asks...don't be surprised if I tell them you are my wife. We were married before and you are no longer my ex. You are my present, my future and my forever." He looked down into my eyes and smiled. "We are forever this time around." I smiled when he said that before feeling him lean down to kiss me, taking it slow with me as we rested together.
