Matt's POV

After getting the casserole out of the oven and putting it on the stove, I got some plates out. When me and Gabby originally divorced, I kept all of our dishes. However, I didn't use them much because I didn't want the memories. But now, I planned on using them again because I had Gabby back in my life. Wonder if she'll recognize them?

That's when I saw Gabby come out looking quite comfortable. "God, that casserole smells delicious. What type of casserole is it?" I looked at her and then shrugged. "Honestly, I didn't look. All I looked at was the instructions and put it in the oven. I didn't really care what type it was. Just make me food and I will eat it."

Gabby chuckled when I said that. "So, that's why you loved everything I made whenever we had the chance to stay home and cook. It's not because you liked it but, it was because it was food." I turned to look at her and was about to try and fix what I said. "Okay, just forgive me for what I said. Having been married to you, I know that there is no fixing what I just said."

Gabby smiled at me before walking up to me and putting her hand on my chest. She then kissed my cheek before putting her hand on my cheek and stroking it with her thumb. "I swear, this time around is going to be so much different than the first time. You are actually going to know what to do and not do. I'm not going to have to train you to do stuff right."

I stared at her. "Okay, hold up there missy. You didn't train me. I knew more than you because, when we first started dating I had already been living alone for almost 15 years, and I had a live in-girlfriend/fiancé for 4 of those years. Sorry but, you did not train me. If anything, I trained you." Gabby then smiled at me before rubbing my chest.

"Oh boy, you really want to go there. It wasn't until we got engaged that I stopped finding your socks on the ground. I got you to stop playing basketball with your socks. Sorry but, that is all me. And I am pretty sure you only did it because you wanted me to keep sleeping over." I chuckled before wrapping my arms around her before kissing her softly. "Forgive me?"

Gabby smiled and nodded before rubbing my arms. "Just finish cooking. I am going to check what you have on the DVR. Tonight, I want to get some time in your arms and feel you close." I smiled and nodded before kissing her softly. "And you will get nothing less than that." I saw her smile when I said that before walking away to the living room to sit on the couch.
