Matt's POV
After kissing Gabby's forehead, I heard her talk to me. Noticing she clicked on another home, I turned to look at the iPad. "That one's cute. Where is it compared to work?" She went to look and smiled. "It says it's only a 20 minute walk." I nodded before looking at the pictures. "Is it big enough though? I mean, compared to the other one....this is very small."
Gabby looked at me and then sighed. "I know but, maybe we can work our way to the other house. As he gets older, you can start commuting more maybe. I get while he is young, you want to be close but eventually....he is going to have after school stuff." I nodded, agreeing with her. "I want at least 5 years at each place. I am not moving every other year."
Gabby nodded and smiled. "I am good with this one for his childhood. I mean, it's close to the firehouse and some great schools. And if there's ever an emergency...you can always rush home. Also, you'll be the one who gets the call if there's a fire." I sighed when she said that before grabbing her hand. "Too soon Gabby, too soon." She sighed and nodded. "Sorry."
I went to move my hand to her stomach and nodded before feeling her head on my shoulder. "Maybe we should talk to a realtor. Sometimes they have homes that aren't listed yet but...that are going to be listed soon." Gabby nodded at me. "Sure. Maybe when I am off bedrest though. If we are going to look at houses, I want to be there."
I chuckled and nodded. "However, there is something we need to consider before we do this. If we are going to buy a house....what are we going to do when it comes to you getting a job?"
