Matt's POV

Once we finished in the shower, we quietly made our way into the bedroom. We had to be quiet as we got dressed because Matteo was still asleep. I looked at Gabby once I got some boxers on before watching her put her bra on. Seeing how she was struggling, I walked over to her and then helped her put it on. She smiled when I was standing behind her because she felt my move my arms around her once again.

After my arms were wrapped tight around her, she turned around and looked up at me. We got close to one another again and just smiled at each other. "Want to just stay like this today? We are just staying in bed after all." Gabby nodded as she wrapped her arms around my waist and then kissed me softly. "Thanks for you help back there in the shower. I feel much better." I smiled when she said that. "Because I washed you or because of what I said?"

Gabby sighed and bit her lip. "A bit of both. I just don't see how me being this fat can really be attractive. I mean, you have only seen me as this fit firefighter-paramedic. I need to start working out again with you and getting back to the flat stomach." I sighed and then moved to kiss her forehead. "No, you are beautiful just like this. Just relax Gabby and know that I love you." Gabby smiled when I said that before wrapping her arm around my back.

We then started to sway a little as I grabbed her butt. "This is our first time dancing as husband and wife again." She smiled when I said that and then backed up before grabbing my hand again and leading me to the bed. "I am going to lay down here with you today. But first, you are going to go make us some lunch." I smiled as I watched her open the covers so that she could get in bed. "Then, you are going to hold me in your arms wearing that."

I smiled as I helped her into bed before nodding. Once she was laying back in bed, I leaned over her to kiss her softly when Matteo disturbed us. We both laughed and sighed. "Can you get him for me? I need to feed him his lunch while you make us some lunch." I nodded and smiled before kissing her quickly. I then walked over to Matteo's crib to pick him up and carry him to Gabby who is waiting to feed him in bed.
