Matt's POV
After walking over to the door, I opened it to see an Amazon guy with a couple boxes. I then smiled at him. "Good morning." He looked at me. "Delivery for Gabriella Casey?" I smiled before turning to look at her. "You forgot to update your Amazon account." She chuckled. "Might as well just keep it that way since I am going to be Mrs. Casey again soon." I nodded and smiled.
"Sorry, just something to laugh about. You take those as they come when you have a newborn baby. Lots of sleep deprivation." He looked at me, not really caring. "Can you just sign the form so I can get out of here and to my next delivery? Dude, I have been up since 4 am driving from Milwaukee." I nodded before watching him walk away. "Thanks."
Once he left, I started to bring them in one by one. There was at least 3 boxes there. Luckily, they weren't all the same size. Before setting them down in the final destination, I decided to ask Gabby where she wanted them. "Babe?" She turned her attention back at me after looking at Matteo while feeding him. "Yes?"
"Where do you want these? I was just going to put them in the nursery if that's okay?" She nodded. "Sure, that sounds great. Just be careful. One of those boxes has the electronics. Try and figure out which one that is. I ordered a white noise machine and a baby monitor. I would like to use those starting today.
I nodded before going to grab my box cutter so that I could at least open all the boxes. "I'll open them all up and look for that stuff. Then, I can bring it out and we can read it. Maybe today, we can work on getting this stuff unpacked. Well, I can. I want to make myself useful around here and not just as your chef and waiter." She chuckled and nodded.
"That sounds perfect. I might just sit here today. Can you go grab the cot for me though and bring it next to the couch at my feet? That way I can put Matteo down in there instead of having to hold him in my arms all day?" I smiled and nodded. "Want your iPad and phone too?" She smiled. "Yes please." I smiled after setting one of the boxes down in the nursery before walking into our bedroom once again to grab her electronics as well as the cot for her.
