Chapter 37 (Sembreak Part 3-You are my sunshine)

Arkin’s POV

I felt some pain in my forehead. It seems like something is hitting my forehead. Am I dreaming? It hurts. It’s not stopping. I opened my eyes then I saw PJ holding a ruler. What?

“Did you just hit me with that ruler?” I asked half asleep.

“Samahan mo ako sa CR.” He said.

“What?”

“Call of nature.” He calmly said.

Bumangon ako while rubbing my eyes. I’m still sleepy. I looked at the clock, it’s been just 2 hours since I slept.

“What?” I asked again. I can’t comprehend what he is saying. I’m still at dreamland. Just when he was about to say something I heard something.

“Prrrrrrrrrtttt.” And then it was immediately followed by a foul smell. I looked at him amused. He smirked.

“What the? Did you just?”

“Sabi ko call of nature.” Wika niya.

“Why did you have to wake me up?”

“Samahan mo ako.” He said.

“What? Why?” I said protesting.

“It’s dark in the hallway. The CR is at the end of the hallway. Besides, I hate being in the dark alone.” He said.

“What?” hindi parin ako fully awake. “You are afraid of what?” but before I could speak another word, he dragged my arm and farted once again.

“Stop asking questions, I have to go now.”

“Uggggh, that really, stinks!” wika ko covering my nose. We are now at the door.

“Malamang, may mabango bang utot?” tanong niya and then he stopped walking.

“What now?” I asked.

“You lead the way. It’s too dark.” Wika niya.

“Okay fine. Come just follow me.” wika ko nalang sa kagustuhan kong bumalik sa kama. We then reached the CR.

“Diyan ka lang sa pintuan. Wait for me.” wika niya.

“What? Why do I have to…” before I could finish nagging him, he already entered the CR but he didn’t close it fully.

“Hey, why didn’t you lock the door?” I yelled.

“Just wait there.” He said and then the foul smell started to spread around the hallway.

“Uggggh. Bakit kailangan kong maghintay dito? Nakailaw naman lahat ng ilaw, it’s not even dark.” Reklamo ko, napasandal nalang ako sa pader kasi inaantok talaga ako.

“Hey.” He yelled again. “There’s no tissue!” he screamed.

“What? Then just use water.”

“Yuck! I don’t use water. Just give me tissue!” he demanded. Now I know why Thia is like that to him. He really is something.

“Wala akong tissue.” I just said.

“Si Thianak may tissue yun.” He said.

“What? Gusto mo pang gisingin ko siya para lang kumuha ng tissue?” wow he really is bossy.

“I’ll wait here.” He just said. Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako and quickly ran into Thia’s room. She opened the door with her eyes half open. She is still pretty kahit kakagising lang niya.

“Bakit?” tanong niya.

“Emergency.” I said.

“Ha? bakit?” tila nagpanik siya konti.
