Wallace's POV

It's been weeks since the last time I saw Arkin near Thia. I guess he kept his promise. Things are going well with me and Thia, I guess. Sometimes, I still see her looking afar like she's thinking about something but I never dared to ask, maybe some things are not just meant to be known. Basta, masaya ako that she's with me.

I was on my way out when I saw someone familiar. Si Trev? I've been seeing him lately here in the hospital. Is he sick? As always, he is confined in his wheelchair.

"Oh, dok, andito parin po pala kayo?" I heard.

I looked back and it was the new intern who came from the States. She was a physical therapist back there but she decided to take up medicine and come home in the here to "serve her countrymen".

"Ah, I was on my way out." Tugon ko, nadako din ang tingin niya kay Trev.

"Oh!" she seemed surprised.

"Why do you know him?" tanong ko.

"Isn't that Trev Castillo?" tugon niya.

"You know him?" tanong ko ulit.

"Yes, he used to be my patient in the states." Wika niya.

"Really. What a small world."

"But, is he riding a wheelchair?" tanong niya ulit.

"Is there a problem with that?"

"Why is he riding a wheelchair?" tanong parin niya.

"Why wouldn't he?" tugon ko.

"It's just that, he did well in this therapy, he actually can walk. After years of therapy, he finally can walk." wika niya.

"Really? But since I saw him, he was always in his wheelchair."

"Well that' strange." Wika niya. "Anyways, I'll get going dok."

"Okay." Tugon ko nalang.

I was at the parking lot when I saw Yana. She was heading towards me.

"Hi. It's been a long time." wika niya.

"I see, you're already healed." Tugon ko.

"I just wanna thank you. I owe my life to you. Kung hindi dahil sayo, baka kung napano na ako." she said.

"No problem, it's my job."

She just stood in front of me like she was trying to find words to say.

"Is there something else you want to say?" tanong ko.

"Is it true?" tanong niya.

"What's true?"

"Are you and Thia in a relationship?" tanong niya.

"Yes." Tugon ko.

She smiled.

"I hope you and Thia will not have a misunderstanding anymore." Wika ko.

"I'm sorry for being mean to Thia. I hope you understand." Tugon niya.

"No problem." Tugon ko.

She again ran out of words to say.

"Okay, kung wala ka nang sasabihin, I have to go." wika ko.

She just nodded.
