Special Chapter 3

Scene 8 (Yana's suicide)

Arkin's POV

I woke up with the sunrays striking my face. Thia is still fast asleep beside me. I can't help but smile. Dahan-dahan kong tinanggal ang braso niyang nakayakap sa akin. I'm already late for work.

Buong ingat ko siyang inihiga ng maayos sa kama. She's still naked under the sheets at buong respeto ko parin siyang kinumutan. I can't believe I just made love to the woman I love. I gasp as I saw the stain of blood in the bedsheet. This time, I'm not letting her go. I love her so much.

I stool up, still naked, looking for my clothes. It's all over the bed room. Nakita kong nakasabit yung brief ko sa lampshade. I smiled taking it off. I took one last glance at Thia before leaving her room wearing only my brief. I went to the bathroom and had a shower.

After taking shower, I decided to cook for her. I need to get to work and I don't wanna wake her up. I'm sure, she got tired.

I was getting ready to leave when my phone rang.

It was Trev's number.

"Hello?" I curiously asked.

He never called me. We even barely talk to each other in person.

"You bastard!" he shouted.

"What now?" tanong ko.

"You stupid what did you do to Yana?" he asked again.

I heard sirens in the background.

"What happened?" tanong getting worried.

"You stupid!" he shouted.

"What happened???" sigaw ko rin.

"She tried to kill herself you stupid moron!" sigaw niya.

I froze. Not that I'm worried she did it but I'm worried that she did it real this time. She had done this before but not to the extent that Trev would call me like this. It's serious.

With Yana in my mind, I still finished what I was doing, cooking for Thia. After that, I headed to the bedroom again, she was still sound asleep.

I stared at her for how many minutes. My phone is ringing nonstop. I wanted to tell her what happened but I don't want her to worry. I love her and I'm going to fix everything first and make sure everything is in place before I could go back to her and I know now is not the right time.

I picked up my things, kissed her on the forehead and headed to the hospital.

Scene 9 (Quian)

Arkin's POV

Monday morning. I'm having my meeting with some of the investors of our company when suddenly, my secretary interrupted me.

"Sir... you have a phone call." She said.

"Can't you see I'm busy?" I whispered and continued my presentation.

"But sir..."

"Clair, what did I say to you? You only interrupt me for two things right?"

"Yes, sir, this time, it's reason number two." She said.

"What?"

"Ms. Thia is calling." She said.

"Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?" I said.
