Chapter 57 (Clash)

Arkin's POV

I opened my eyes when I felt my head aching. The sunlight struck my face. Sa sofa na pala ako nakatulog. I glanced at Thia who was sleeping at my bed. She is still sound asleep. I looked at the clock, hapon na pala. Hindi pa ako nakapag-paalam sa office. Everything was a mess last night. I stood up trying not to make a noise in order not to wake Thia up. She must have been really tired and drunk last night. Mabilis akong pumasok sa bathroom to take a shower.

I smiled remembering the things that happened yesterday. I don't know why but, I'm really happy. I'm glad those things happened, I think I got really close to Thia. I tried my best to take a shower quickly, Thia might wake up any minute and wonder why she is in my bed right now.

After taking a shower I saw that my bed was empty. Where is she? Lumabas ako and went to the guest room. Drew is still sleeping. I went downstairs then I saw Thia in the door. She was wearing my t-shirt covering only half of her butt. Who is she talking to? Ah, baka si Sheena na yun. She said babalik din siya agad. Mabilis ko siyang nilapitan.

"Is that Sheen..." di ko na naituloy ang sasabihin ko nang makita ko si Yana na nasa pintuan.

"Arkin?" she was teary-eyed looking at me, when I realized I was only wearing a towel.

"Y-Yana?"

"What the..."

"Y-yana..." di rin makakibo si Thia, she is also confused.

"How dare you!" wika ni Yana, and just like that, she slapped Thia.

"Yana!" sigaw ko trying to stop her slapping her more.

Thia was holding her cheek.

"Mali ang iniisip mo!" sigaw ko.

"Anong mali? Look at you. Look at her. Anong mali sa iniisip ko? You are almost naked!" hysterical na si Yana.

"It's not what you think." Wika ko.

She wiped her tears and looked at me. "I hate you!" sigaw niya before she left leaving Thia and I speechless.

"Are, are you okay?" tanong ko.

She was still speechless.

"Hey, guys, what's with the noise?" tanong ni Drew coming down from the stairs.

"Anong nangyari?" narinig naman namin seeing Sheena at the door catching her breath. "Nakasalubong ko si Yana na umiiyak sa elevator." Wika niya.

"What?" tugon ni Drew as he drew closer to us.

"Please take me home." Mahinang wika ni Thia.

"Thia, I'm sorry for..."

"Bitiwan mo ako." wika ni Thia.

"I'm really sorry..."

"Let's go Sheena." Wika ni Thia and left without even looking at me.

Just like that, kami nalang ni Drew and natira sa condo.

"Can you tell me what the hell happened?" tanong ni Drew.

"Yana slapped her." tugon ko.

"What?"

"Masyadong mabilis ang mga nangyari."

"But, why?" tanong pa ni Drew looking at me.

"Yana saw you looking like that with Thia?"

Napaupo nalang ako sa sofa, my head still aching.

"Dude, you're in trouble." Wika niya sa he joined me in the sofa.
