Special Chapter 1

Scene 1

(Arkin's confession to Yana)

Yana's POV

I was in the music room I was playing the piano. This is what I do when I feel sad. I play dad's favorite song. Suddenly someone came near me.

"Arkin?"

He smiled.

"It's your dad's favorite song. It's the song that Trev first played using the piano." Wika niya.

"I just miss dad." I said.

I tried to hide my tears but it kept falling. Tinabihan niya ako and wiped my tears.

He started playing the piano.

I just watched him trying not to cry. I miss my dad so much. I miss my family. He silently played the piano. Hindi ko alam na marunong parin siya. After that incident I thought he gave up playing piano.

He looked at me when he's done.

"I'm sorry. Alam mo naman, I'm just down these days. You know, finals na and my grades are crap, maraming activities sa school."

"Shhh. Don't cry. Alam ko you've been through a lot." Wika niya.

It's like he's the only one who understands me. I don't have my brother or mom here. All I have is him. He hugged me.

"It's okay, cry it out. I know you just miss your dad. I know Trev is making you stressed." Wika niya.

"I'm sorry about kuya."

"No, it's okay. Nag-usap na kami kagabi. We sorted things out. Past is past." He said.

"T-talaga? okay na kayo?"

"Y-yes. Okay na kami. I'm really happy na okay na kami." he said but why is there something in his eyes I cannot read?

"Salamat naman at okay na kayo."

"Yana..."

"Hmmn? May sasabihin ka pa?" tanong ko.

"I... I love you." wika niya.

It was like a bomb in my ear.

"W-what?"

"I love you Yana." wika ulit niya.

I felt like I'm dreaming. I know na hiwalay na sila ni Thia but...

"Arkin are you serious?"

"Yes, I'm serious." Wika niya.

"But..."

"I know it's sudden. But..."

"I love you too Arkin." I said.

He was not surprised at all. It was like he was expecting it.

"R-really?" tanong niya with his pokerface.

"Yes Arkin, I've loved you ever since."

He smiled and embraced me. It was the happiest moment of my life. Little did I know, it would be the greatest mistake we ever made.

Scene 2:

(Wallace's first heartbreak)

Wallace's POV

Upon seeing Arkin and Thia so close together, laughing and holding hands, my whole world fell apart. Why does it have to be her?

My cellphone starting ringing.

"Hello."
