Chapter 64 (Love is the moment)

Thia's POV

My head was hurting when I woke up. I looked around and all I can see are white walls. I'm hooked to a dextrose.

"Thia." Wallace was beside me. "Are you okay?" tanong niya.

"What happened?" tanong ko.

"You lost consciousness. Dok said you were just dehydrated. You just need to finish this IV then you can go home." Wika niya.

Huh? I lost consciousness? But what about Arkin?

"Arkin brought you to the ER." Wika ni Wallace.

"Huh?"

"He was the one who brought you to the ER. He saw you when you fainted. What were you doing at the parking lot?" tanong niya.

"Ah, w-wala. Dun nalang sana kita hihintayin sa kotse mo." pagsisinungaling ko.

But is it true? Arkin brought me to the ER? Pero nasan na siya?

"Anyway, you're fine now. I'm sorry I wasn't with you. You should take some rest." Wika ni Wallace.

Just then the door opened.

"Thia!" sigaw ni Sheena. "What happened?"

"She's okay nga diba sabi ko?" wika naman ni Drew na siyang nagsara ng pintuan. "I'm sorry, hindi ko siya mapigilang pumunta dito. We had to cancel our appointment with the coordinator because she kept insisting that we should come here." Reklamo ni Drew.

"I'm sorry for that." wika ko.

"Anong sorry, siyempre uunahin ko muna si bes bago ang iba no." wika ni Sheena.

"Bago ang iba? Bakit anong tingin mo sa wedding natin? Laro lang?" tugon ni Drew.

"Kayong dalawa, wag nga kayo dito mag-away." Wika ko. "Sheena, tama naman si Drew, I'm fine kaya ang mabuti pa, i-meet nyo na yung mga coordinator nyo. Ilang araw nalang kasal niyo na."

"Sorry, akala ko kasi kung napano kana. Sabi ko naman sayo wag ka nang magpapagod. Paano kung wala ka sa wedding ko? Wala na akong maid of honor."

"Ang drama mo naman. I'm fine."

"Tama si Thia. She's fine. She was just dehydrated. Now, before your groom gets pissed off, you better get going." Wika ni Wallace.

"Pero..."

"I will take care of Thia, don't worry."

"Okay fine." Wika ni Sheena and just like that they were out of the room.

"May gusto ka bang kainin?" tanong ni Wallace.

"Ah, wala naman. Pwede na ba akong umuwi?" tanong ko.

"You should rest for a bit."

"Pero paano ka? It's your day off yet you're here."

"Where else would I be?" tanong niya.

I just smiled. I wanted to ask about Arkin but I chose not to.

Arkin's POV

I got tired of Trev, marami pa akong client meetings, so I decided to go home. Babalik nalang ako pag wala na si Trev dito sa ospital. Just when I was about to open my car nadako ang tingin ko samay gilid, there I saw someone lying, pero, is that... Thia?

Mabilis akong tumakbo sa kinaroroonan niya.

"Thia?" kinakabahan kong wika.

Mabilis ko siyang binuhat and rushed to the ER.
