Chapter 73 (Broken Vow)

Wallace's POV

I silently sobbed in the corner before leaving the gym. I also saw Sheena and Drew coming out of the gym.

"Ace..." salubong ni Drew as he embraced me.

I tried so hard not to sob but I did. He silently hugged me and I let it go. I also felt that Sheena came close to us and she held my hands.

"Wallace, you'll be fine." She said crying too.

"T-Thank you." tugon ko.

"I'm so sorry." wika ni Sheena.

"Sheena, it's okay. You don't need to apologize."

"It's just that all of was happening right in front of our eyes yet we didn't see your suffering. I'm sorry Wallace."

"You don't have to be sorry. If I would be given a chance to change my destiny, I would still choose this. Having to love Thia was one of the best thing I did in this lifetime." Tugon ko.

"You didn't tell her about your migration." Wika ni Drew.

"I don't want to confuse her anymore. I want her to be happy without thinking about anything."

"Ace..." natahimik si Drew.

"Oh Drew, come on, don't give me that look. I'd look even more pitiful."

"I'm sorry, I just can't, I can't help it." wika niya.

Just then, I looked up front and saw someone standing from a distance.

Yana.

"Guys, give me a moment." Wika ko looking at her.

"Anong ginagawa niya dito?" tanong ni Sheena.

"Relax, I will go and talk to her." tugon ko kay Sheena.

I slowly walked towards her. She's beside a school building. It's a spot where you can see the door of the gym and some parts inside. She was crying when I reached her.

"Yana." I softly said.

She quietly wiped her tears.

"Ah, I, I was just... ah, don't mind me, I won't do anything, I just want to, I just want to look at him for the last time, I just want to..." she broke into tears. I hugged her.

"Don't worry, I know, I know you won't do anything." Tugon ko.

She just sobbed. She continued sobbing letting it all out. I just became her crying shoulder. She cried for minutes. I was looking at the gym the whole time wondering what happened to Arkin and Thia. When she finally calmed down, we went to a corner.

"Paano mo kinakaya?" tanong niya.

I forced a smile.

"I, I don't know."

"Arkin is my life." Wika niya pa sitting at the stairs. Tinabihan ko siya.

I sighed.

"He was my life. Everything I do revolve around him. Everything I did was all for him." I can't see her face but she sure is crying. Actually, mugto narin ang mata niya.

"Well, that's what we do for the people we love. We just want to give the whole world to them." tugon ko.

"You know, the first time he told me he wanted us to be together, I was the happiest. It was before your graduation and he approached me in the music room. He played the piano singing my dad's favorite song. He told me he wanted us to be together. I was confused for a bit dahil alam kong he just broke up with Thia months before. Pero hindi ko na pinalagpas pa ang lahat, I said yes even before we left the room" wika niya.
