"Hello sweetie." I said softly. She was so scared and cold. I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her. She went carefully up to me and I gave her a warm smile. "My name is Aurora Lambert." I said. She barked happily and wagged her tail. "I think I'll call you Etta." I said. She barked again and licked my face. "You like your name, don't you?" I asked.
Etta jumped up and down of joy. "I take that as a yes." I said and giggled. I picked her up and went back to my car and drove back home.
