Dark 4: Plans

Black's POV

The envelopes Mr. Zedler gave us contain the plans in order to keep the Queens safe. It was too detailed and I am confident that it would work. But I doubt it if it's Mr. Zedler who made all these plans.

It's possible that this is a part of a bigger plan Miss Igraine left before she died. And if ever she was really able to calculate seven years ago what will happen in UC right at this moment, that means her intelligence is beyond the average.

"Villareal, Smith, Avelino and...Ainsworth,"  Ethan said while holding one of the files. "They are the Generals who belong in the first side. That means, they are our main enemies."

"Bakit hindi na lang nila patayin 'yang apat na 'yan?" Stephen asked. "Kasi kung wala sila, edi walang problema."

I shook my head. "That's not possible. We cannot kill our fellow DO members, especially if they have higher ranks, not unless they lose their power or become no longer qualified for their position."

"Pero bakit tinangka nilang patayin si Miss Igraine?"

I almost took a deep breath with Giovanni's question. It looks like they still have a lot of things to learn on how Underground City and Dark Organization work.

"It's because she's no longer a part of DO that time," sabi ni Ethan. "She left the throne vacant and put Mr. Zedler as a temporary leader, remember? Ibigsabihin, wala silang batas na lalabagin kung sakaling patayin nila siya."

Napatango-tango naman iyong dalawa. Ethan looked at me and it looks like he knew that I no longer have any plans of answering their questions.

"So, let's get back to the plan," Ethan said.

I rested my back against the sofa. We are now in the living room. There are cameras outside the house so I think it's safe even if we discuss the plans here.

"The first side offered a proposal to recruit the Queens and make them DO members. But we all know that those Generals are traitors and they'll use the girls to kill their fellow Generals," Ethan said. "While the second side offered a proposal to kill the Queens as they have seen them as a threat to the organization. But we also know that they just want that so they cannot be used against them."

Napatango-tango kami. We continued studying the plans.

Me. Zedler or the so-called Head will decide through a voting. Two sides offered two different proposals but he want neither of them.

Generals and DO members are the only ones who can vote. And the choices will be either to recruit the Queens, kill them, or just leave them alone.

At dahil alam naman naming walang boboto sa pangatlo, we need to make sure the majority will be in the third choice. Mr. Zedler will appoint me as a new General, replacing my father's position.

Then I will do my best to talk to the other Generals of the second side to change their minds since being a Generals is the only way you can talk to them. At kung sakaling hindi, these three will do their part.

They will talk to the DO members, such as the Dark Guards and the other families who have parts in DO. We just need to persuade and choose our side.

But that's only the start.

If that method worked and the majority of votes really went to the third choice, we know very well that it won't just end like that.

If the first side can no longer use the Queens, we are sure they'll kill them instead. In any way possible.

If I am on their shoes, I'll do the same. I'll kill them before anyone can ever use them against me. Besides, people who have power only look at people with two things in their heads.
