Ethan's POV
The class already started but Stephen is still not here. Looks like Sir Paul asked a big help from him or he just went somewhere and chose to absent.
I just shrugged.
Halfway the class, I noticed the heiresses getting out of the classroom. Mukhang napansin din sila nila Black pero hindi ng teacher at classmates namin.
They got out so easily and quick that's why I didn't managed to stop them. But where are they going? Don't tell me they'll do cutting classes again?
Since we cannot also leave and follow them, I just secretly took out my phone and accessed the CCTV footages. Nakisilip naman iyong dalawa sa phone ko pero nanatili kaming tahimik para hindi mahuli.
It's my first time using my phone during classes and thankfully, we are at the back row.
I checked the current footages but to our surprise, they are already gone. I checked all hallways, the cafeteria and even the mini forest but they are nowhere to be found.
Damn. Ang bilis naman nilang makaalis.
"What is that, Ethan?"
I slid my phone back to my pocket and smiled while looking at our teacher.
"Nothing, Ma'am. I just checked something on my pants."
Naningkit ang mga mata niya pero napatango-tango na lang. She was about to continue her lesson when finally, napansin na niyang wala na sila Kaye sa mga upuan nila.
"Teka, nasaan sila?"
Giovanni, Black and I just looked at each other and shrugged. But after being aware of the heiresses' disappearance, she still continued lecturing in front. The students didn't seem to care and I guess they are all used to that.
Sabagay. Kung hindi naman kasi nagka-cutting classes ang apat na 'yon, hindi naman pumapasok.
Class proceeded and Stephen didn't showed up during those time. Wala naman sigurong nangyaring masama sa lalaking 'yon.
But I'm not worried. Masamang damo siya kaya matagal mamatay.
When lunch came, we all went to the cafeteria to buy foods. Binilhan na din namin si Stephen. I just hope he's already in my office so we won't need to look for him.
We went out of the cafeteria and walked towards my office. But on our way, nakasalubong namin si Stephen.
"Ste—"
Giovanni stopped and frowned. Maging kami ay napakunot noo nang makita si Stephen. He was humming and leaping while walking and that earned him some weird stares from the students.
He looks so happy. May nangyari kaya?
"Why do you look so happy?"
He just noticed us when Black asked him.
"Oh mga pare! Nand'yan pala kayo!"
"Actually, kanina pa."
I frowned even more when I noticed the cut on his lips.
"What happened to your lips?"
He touched his lips and suddenly, his smile grew bigger.
"Nasuntok ako."
"What? Who?"
"Secret. Hehe."
Halos magsalubong na ang mga kilay namin sa sobrang pagtataka sa inaasal ng lalaking ito. It was as if he's still happy his face was punched.
