"Tell me why we've got to be ready this early again?""Dad says it's a bit of a trip to the portkey," Ginny mumbled.
"We're going on a hike?! This early?" Hermione asked in disbelief. The three of them went downstairs where Mrs. Weasley had prepared breakfast. Naia saw a groggy Harry, Ron, Fred, and George sitting on the kitchen table.
She went to sit by Fred, who sleepily hugged her waist from his seat with a groggy "Morning love," moving to pull out the chair next to him for her to sit. She playfully poked his cheek as she smirked at his sleepy face. He definitely looked like he had just gotten out of bed, ginger hair unruly and sticking out in all directions. He began to pour her a cup of tea as she attempted to smooth down the messy strands.
"George!" Molly shrieked, causing Fred to visibly tense. "What?" His twin said innocently.
"What's that in your pocket?" Taking a sip of her tea, Naia's eyes darted to George's pockets which were undoubtedly filled with sweets.
Fred grabbed some sweets from his own pockets from under the table and began stuffing them into Naia's jacket and jeans subtly. He watched his mother in horror as she accioed the sweets from his brother. "We told you to destroy them!" said Molly furiously. "We told you to get rid of the lot! Empty your pockets, go on, both of you!"
"We spent six months developing those!" Fred shouted as he watched his Mother throw the toffees away.
"Oh a fine way to spend six months! No wonder you didn't get more O.W.L.s!"
Fred and George were in a foul mood for the rest of breakfast and as they left the burrow. "Oh, lighten up you two, we're on the way to the world cup! Plus, I've still got these." Naia beamed at the two as she held up the sweets Fred managed to stuff in her own pockets. Fred smiled as George looked in disbelief. "Plus the ones you've put in my trunk days ago,"
"Brilliant!" That seemed to lighten up the mood as they hiked.
"Now where is that porkey-"
"Over here, Arthur!"
"Amos!" Naia and the rest followed Mr. Weasley as he came up to another wizard. She noticed a familiar face standing off to the side.
"This is Amos Diggory everyone, and I think you know his son, Cedric?"
"Hi," Cedric smiled at everyone kindly, noticing how tired they all were. Naia, seemed better off considering her physical training. They all muttered a 'hey' back except for Fred and George, who only nodded, still angry about their match against Hufflepuff last year.
"Long walk! These all yours, Arthur?" He said eyeing the multitude of kids.
"Oh no, only the red-heads," Mr. Weasley said pointing to his children. "This is Hermione, friend of Ron's - and Naia, another friend of Fred and George-"
"Naia Vance?" Amos' eyebrows raised and he shot Cedric a look. The latter of which blushed slightly.
"Er, yes-" Mr. Weasley said.
"Cedric's spoken highly of you. Quite the chaser!" Naia went to shake his hand, "Thank you, pleased to meet you, Sir," she smiled, looking at Cedric in greeting. His face brightened as he beamed back at her. Fred pursed his lips and placed a hand on Naia's lower back protectively.
"And this here is Harry," Mr. Weasley continued.
"Harry? Harry Potter? Ced's talked about you, of course! Told us all about playing against you last year. I said, Ced, that'll be something to tell your kids, that you beat Harry Potter!"
