Into The Rose Garden (Seidou x Kanae/Karren)

Chapter Fifty-four - Ukaku

It's a long, awkwardly painful drive within the limousine. Kanae was just driving, and Seidou and Shuu just sat together in the back.  

Seidou awkwardly sat, having his legs apart but having his knees closed in. Seidou cleared his throat. "So...what did you talk about with Ms. Kirishima...?" The male humbly ask gently, with Shuu turning his head slightly at him. "Well, three days from now, you're getting personal training from one of the strongest ukaku ghouls I know! ...Though it won't be Kirishima, unfortunately, though maybe she'll help out a little in her own way I suppose."

Seidou sighed deeply, going into his seat. "Are they harsh with their methods?" "I'm not going to lie to you Seidou, so I'll tell you... Most likely." Seidou closes himself in, sinking into his seat. "Are you sure I have to do this...?" The male asked softly. 

"You don't necessarily have to, just try giving it a chance. If something's going on with you, that has to do with your kagune, they'll figure it out." Seidou looked down at his knees. "Well ok, but I can back out after if I wanted to, right?" "Of course, we wouldn't want-! Oh, Kanae stop right here!" Kanae floors it, quickly shifting his head around, panicking.

"W-Wha-?! What's the matter master Shuu, is something wrong?!" Shuu doesn't comment, and instead opens his side of vehicle. "I'll be just a second!" Leaving Seidou and Kanae alone together, Seidou continues to lay within his seat, stretching his legs. "What do you think Shuu stopped you for?" "You know, you don't have to question it Seidou, master Shuu's just like that. So impulsive and lively..."

Seidou jolted up, tilting his head slightly. "Is...that why you love him...?" Kanae blushes immensely, turning his head back. "E-Excuse me?!" Seidou rolled his eyes. "Come on Rosewald, it's so obvious at this point. I mean, to me at least."

The younger male scoffed rudely, turning his head around to the front windshield. "Leave it Seidou, it doesn't matter." "But I mean, don't you love him...in that way?" Kanae hits the steering wheel, causing Seidou to flinch. Kanae takes a breath. "And..." The younger male shrugs softly. "So what if I do...?" Kanae asked oddly calm-like and relaxed, causing a little confusion for the other male.

Seidou's body becomes less tense, relaxing rather quickly. "Nothing, I'd tell you to 'go for it', but the truth is I don't know that much about romance either... So, do you mind telling me...why do you like him?" Kanae grunts. "Why would I EVER tell you?!" "No need to snap, I just want to know. I think I know how you might feel, it's confusing and you want to find out if that person feels the same way about you...without even asking them yourself..."

Kanae rolled his eyes. "I know you're talking about Matsu-!" "T-There was someone before Matsumae, Rosewald..."

Kanae instantly turned his entire upper body to the other male. "W-Wait a goddamn minute! You had your eyes on someone BEFORE Matsumae?! W-Who were they, h-how did you even-?!" "Now who's asking all of the questions...?" Seidou pointed out bluntly.

Kanae blushed softly, clearing his throats. "But really who did you have the hots for, were they attractive?" "I guess so, but it wasn't her looks that interested me. It was... I-I don't even know if that's what I felt towards her. But if I saw her now, I just want her to remain happy, despite everything that has happened."

Kanae just paused, turned back into his original position, mumbling a bunch of German to himself. "H-Hey, what about you?" "I promised nothing!" And Kanae left it at that, making Seidou huff in frustration.

'No fair...' He thought to himself. Shuu does eventually make it back, gleefully sitting down at the front this time. He takes out some sort of small box, handing it to the male behind him. "Here Seidou, I figured that you'll be needing a phone, so I got you one~!" Seidou looked down at the unopened container, and Kanae peeks over, slightly envious. Shuu looks at him, mildly confused.
