Chapter Fifteen - Crushed

The elder male nodded, scribbling down his notes and looking up at the younger male. "I see, so this Matsumae, is there something about her that you're...fond of?" Seidou shrugged. "I-I guess so, she is the only one I would feel comfortable with. She's warm, cheerful, patient...lovely~..." The male blushed.

Kanou rolled his eyes. "But, you know she's not real, right?" "Well, it seems that way. But the dream itself feels way too real! Like, hypothetically speaking, what if that 'dream' was the reality, and right now this is actually the-?" Kanou scoffed.

"Don't be radicicolous, Takizawa. There's no way someone like you managed to actually escape. I mean don't take this personally, but just look at you!" Seidou looked down, frowning. "There's no way you're strong or clever enough to manage that much. Oh please, the thought is just hilarious!"

Seidou growls. "Y-You don't know that! I didn't do it alone, Nagachika was there!" Seidou covered his mouth quickly, that sentence just escaped from him. 

Kanou smirked. "Oh? And how do you know this male?" Seidou shook his head. "I-I...I don't know him! R-Really, he's just like any other investigator!" Seidou stated as his voice was quivering and breaking. Kanou sighed.

"You're a bad liar..." Placing his hand underneath his chin in a thinking manner, he continues.

"Though, I am quite curious on...how we could use this against you..." "No, no no no no no..." "However, I find no difficulty in getting the answers out of you." Seidou places his hands onto his chest. "No, he's nothing to me! He's nobody, I swear! Just-!"

Kanou glares at the male. "Than why would he bother to save you...?"

Before Seidou could explain himself, he hears someone calling out to him. 

"Takizawa..."

"Takizawa..."

"Huh, who's there?" Kanou tilts his head slightly. "What in the world are you talking about?" "That voice, it sounds so..."

"Takizawa...!" 

"Familiar."

"Takizawa!"

Suddenly, Seidou's eyes begin to open, as a bright light meets him. He sighs to himself. 'It was just a dream, yet again...' The male thought.

"Takizawa! Takizawa, it's time to get up!" The male shifts around and grumbles to himself. "M-Matsumae...? I-Is that you...?" "Oh, you're finally awake! It's about time too! Come on, we have to teach you some things!"

Seidou slowly began to get up, and Matsumae smirks. "Oh my gosh, are those...puppies?!" Seidou blushes immensely. "K-Ka-! Um, Rosewald allowed me to pick any kind of pajamas within the storage room..."

The female bursts into a fit of laughter, leaving the male embarrassed and covering his face. The female soon notices his distress and slowly stops her laughing.

"Hey, I was only teasing. In fact, I think they look pretty...adorable. Do you like dogs?" The male nodded softly and blushed. "T-They...comfort me when I'm feeling upset or down." The female smiles softly.

"Oh, that's nice. I'm kind of the same but it's more like with lizards for me." "You have lizards?" The female sighed, shaking her head. "No, but I am working things out. Hopefully I can get at least one next week." 

Seidou yawned and stretched. "Well, I should get ready for the day than, I guess. Can you...?" "Oh! Alright, but please meet up with me as soon as possible. See you at the stairs." 

Matsumae bows and giggles, then she gets out. Seidou sighed to himself, getting up and finding his own comb. Brushing his hair. He soon slowly makes his way to one of the many restrooms.
