Into The Rose Garden (Seidou x Kanae/Karren)

Chapter Eleven - Household

It has been at least three hours, of them just driving. Within that time Mirumo fell asleep, to which then Seidou spoke up. "Hey, I have a question... Is it wrong...of me to just wish I'd live 'happily-ever-after'?" Seidou flinched when the male moved around in his sleep. 

Seidou sighed deeply. He too just wanted a well-rested nap, but after the recent occurrence, he just wanted to keep his eyes opened. He scoffed. "Forget it...a ghoul like you would never try to understand how a human feels..." Seidou stated sternly yet sadly.

Eventually the car stops moving and his door is opened. "Get out." Kanae simply stated rudely to the male, to which he listens quickly. The ghoul then carefully went into the limo, half in at least, and spoke softly. 

"U-Um... M-Master Mirumo, w-will you please wake up...?" Seidou rolled his eyes from the sudden change in attitude. 'You've got to be kidding me...'

And soon, the male slowly exits the vehicle; yawning and stretching, he speaks. "Sorry Kanae, for the trouble..." Kanae giggles playfully. "Oh, believe me, it was no trouble at all!" Matsumae chuckles as she watches Seidou's reacting face.

"I know, his behavior is a little confusing to newcomers. But believe me, he's more respectable than you may be thinking. He just has a hard time with humans, or just outsiders in general." Seidou turned to the female. "I... It is confusing, but I really don't mind, or care. I'm just here, and that's it to it, huh?"

The female sighs deeply. "I'm afraid so, just try not taking it a little too personally. You seem nice enough, with human standards of course..."

Seidou's eyes widen. "You...see me as a human?" Matsumae shrugs. "I guess in a way, yeah. I mean you do have that eye, but I can't really see you as anything else but a human, and I don't know why." Seidou's cheeks glow a little, blushing softly. "T-Thank you..." He half whispered.

Before Matsumae could question him on what he was trying to say, Kanae interrupts. "OK... It's about 4:55 in the morning, so we might as well go inside and..." He yawns. "Sleep..." To which Seidou yawned next.

Matsumae smiled, without yawning. "Yeah, you two kids should get your beauty rest!" "Wha-?! I'm not a 'kid' anymore Matsumae!" Matsumae scoffs. "Yeah, you've been saying since your first..." The female looks over at the male, to which he violently shook his head, making an 'x' with his arms.

"Uh...your first... Violin tournament, yes! That's what I meant  to say! Inside now, don't worry about brushing your teeth right now, because you'll just get to it in the morning!"

The other two nodded and began walking, to which Seidou followed along. Kanae froze for a second. "Oh, right! Nearly forgot!" When suddenly, he turned to the half-breed, taking out the keys and began unlocking his chains.

"H-Hey, what are you-?!" "Ssshh! I need to focus, we can't leave you like this to sleep..." Seidou narrowed his eyes. 'Really, he's being considerate? That's strange...' "I mean after all, we wouldn't want our property to get damaged." Seidou scoffed rudely, and spoke sarcastically. "Thanks a lot..." "Watch your tone, borg..."

Seidou sighed as Kanae continued unlocking the chains. 'On second thought, maybe he's just a douche...' 

Seidou is led in by Kanae, and he watches as Matsumae goes her seperate way, smiling at the male. Seidou is eventually led to a door. "This is it, your room for the night, and however long you'll be staying here." Seidou nodded slightly, Kanae stares at him.

"Look, I know you're still getting adjusted to being here, but actually saying something wouldn't hurt!" Seidou shrugs. "Doesn't really help being in a place like this." "What, being inside a very elegant and gigantic mansion isn't that comforting?!"
