Chapter Sixty-three - Can run, but can't hide

The young male stood frozen, staring the elder male straight in the face, filled with complete shock and terror. His eyes wide open, quivering and focused. It was like he was staring at a ghost, or worst yet, a demon.

Seidou shook his head lightly, and Kanou scoffed lightly as he crossed his arms. "Hello, we meet again...Seidou Takizawa." Saying his name as if he was saying it in full resentment.

Seidou shook his head. "No...no no no!" Kanou tilts his head. "What's wrong, Takizawa...cat's got your tongue?" Kanou pauses, before adding yet another comment. "How was your 'trip' to Hawaii? They've got rather nice natural sounds in the mornings from what I remember, wildlife and such..."

Seidou stops shaking his head, he then turns around completely around and starts speed walking. Kanou of course becomes...frustrated, in a sense. "Hey, speak to your elders when they ask you a question, young man!" Kanou grabs onto Seidou's left shoulder, causing the young male to flinch severely. Seidou froze for about five seconds, before snapping himself out of it, slapping Kanou's hand away.

The young and speedy male bolts it, without once looking back. Kanou followed behind, as best as he could at least. No one was around, surprisingly, so looking for a crowd of people wasn't an easy option. 

"Takizawa! Do you really think running away will get rid of your problems?!" The elder male shouted, with Seidou not responding or reacting at all. If he was away from people like Kanou or Tatara, than it was a definite 'yes'.

Kanou pants as Seidou was far ahead of him. "Takizawa, please! I just need to talk to you about some things! You can't run forever!" Seidou shook his head, turning it slightly to look over him. "I can, and I will!"

Kanou grunts with frustration. "Ugh! Stop acting childish! Where have you been hiding this entire time?! What happened to your tracker?! Who helped you run away?! Say something!" 

Finally, out of pure spite, Seidou turns around completely. He was still moving, just backwards. He flashes Kanou the bird before turning back around. "Go to hell!"

Seidou, without thinking, turns to an alleyway. Far into it, turns to his left; a dead end with nothing but trash. 'Fuck fuck fuck fuck!' The male thought, anxiety filling up his thoughts. 'Shit, what do I do?! He's gonna catch up anytime soon!' Seidou looked around quickly. 'Should I go into the dumpster? No, it's too obvious. What do I do?!"

Suddenly, a certain voice within his thoughts finally takes pity on him. 'Seidou...I have an idea. Or should I say...'we' have an idea...' Seidou couldn't believe it, for once...he was willfully going to listen to this inner demon within himself. It was weird this time, however...the voice sounded just as afraid as he was.

After going through the plan, Seidou runs over to the dumpster, opening it and slamming it down. He then runs over to the nearest cardboard box, folding his own body within it. It really was a good thing to practice flexibility. You ever thought yoga would save one's own life?

And soon enough, Kanou appears and Seidou covers up his mouth. Kanou scoffs to himself. "You know Takizawa, it'll just be easier to show yourself now. You can run, I'll give that... However, you really can't hide, not forever." Kanou continues. 

"Believe me, I know that for a fact...more than you know... We have more in common than you may think, you just don't know it yet." Kanou sighs deeply. "Something tragic happened in my life, and I was never the same after that; maybe if you deal with the treatments long enough, all of that pain will be replaced by numbness, and you'll feel better..."

Seidou looked down within his box, thinking about what the madman was talking about. "I know where you are, so just come out before I get irritated. I'll start counting from five to one." Kanou takes a deep breath and continues.
